GRAMBLING -- Doug Williams wasn't going to rush into spring football the way circumstances forced him to do in 2011.

The Grambling coach had little time between his March 4 return to his alma mater last year and the March 14 scheduled start to practice.

He and his staff scheduled a much later start this time around and will finally get underway this afternoon.

Looking forward to Spring Ball... Glad to hear they've been working in the weight room. We return a lot of starters on the offensive side of the ball...should be a good season for us!

They will not make it to Birmingham, Southern U will. I see an 8-3 record in Grambling's 2012 season. I project Bama State will capture the east.....

Jones has mind control over Bama State....We return our entire team...Lacey was getting 5 yards a carry on Bama State and he is even bigger now!
 
I just can not forgive Jones for losing to this scrub team. No way in the hell should we have lost. Jones must win the SWAC this year. He must win!!!!

Look at what Stump done gone and done now.... Got Doug wearning an old A$$ looking gray beard (lol). Btw,I heard your new AD has already guranteed a victory in this years BC... Po Stump ... Now that's pressure.... Haven't y'all learned anything about selling wolf tickets?

I sure hope you all aren't too hard on Doug after this year's BC. Stump's 3 year plan is right on target: 1) Get New Players 2) Take control of the state of Alabama 3) Control the entire SWAC and SCG Championship.

Y'all struggled against our backup QB and we will have our DL problems fixed this year. We have more depth at the QB, RB, and WR positions on offense. We also plenty of players returning that have plenty of experience.

Our new AD is so cerebral until he can start a brush fire in Grambling with his powerful intellect. That may have something to do with his hair style. I don't try to get in a genius head. :lol: :emlaugh:

struggled? Jones took the lead and does what he always does.... YOU struggled and couldnt stop Lacey.... hell he ran over the same dude twice and knocked his ass out the game. Lacey had 190 yards rushing against Bama State ... that aint have nothing to do with your qb. EXCUSES.... Your qb was KNOCKED out the game on the same play he threw an INT... thats part of the game.

now back to Grambling...

Since we left D2 we have owned Bama St. This year will be no different. :emlaugh: At least we share our BBQ with yall.

If you stop the run game, you'll beat A&M. A&M will not win the East nor the MCC this year with that one dimensional offense. You can right click and save this.

IF..... why did u not stop the run last year then.... How did you let that one dimension run ALL OVER you? Hell we didnt have to pass... just run between tackles and u couldnt stop it.... btw Lacey STILL running....

The only thing that Country Grambling owns is a "slew" of pine trees, a million kilos of pollen and a welcome to Grambling sign.
