Growing demand for HBCU bands’ talent increases their time in national spotlight


Let the drums roll out, the trumpet call and the people shout, "Strike up the band." For most marching bands back in the day, marching band season usually ended in December. Today, marching band season can extend past March with parades, Battle of the Bands, and other events.

Props to the Band Directors, support staff and marching band students for their dedication to their craft and motivation to entertain the masses.
