So, Spears is still throwing bombs late in the 4th quarter of an extreme blowout with his first string still in the game. CLASSLESS!!! :smh: No excuses accepted.

And we have Gram posters justifying and rationalizing that crap. SHAMEFUL!!! :shame: No excuses accepted.

It definitely represents the mindset of the Boot. :smh:

I ain't rationalizing or offering up excuses... I'm going on record as saying " HELL yes, score and score until the other team stops you". PVU is a D1AA team with the same number of scholarship allotments...handle their bizness or get dealt with. Same goes for Grambling when they step on the field with someone else.

Yall kill me with this fake "honor and class" crap. When yall hung that 60 plus on Grambling in Doug's first or second year were was the high moral standards then? You know what...yall did exactly what you were supposed to do. The thing is we went out and recruited and now we try to make dayum sho it doesn't happen again.

I hope Spears continue to blast folk whenever he gets the chance. Nothing would make me happier than seeing him come into Confederate Memorial and putting 70 on Bell and dem blue kitties. I wanna blast every mofo who lines up across from the GMen...and Dayum right, that's how I was raised!

I hope next year Grambling hangs over 70 on them. If PV's coach can't manage to get his team to prevent the opponent from dropping 50 on them...maybe he's the one to blame...not the opposing team's coach. This is nothing more than excuses from an inept coach with a pathetic team.

Chop blocks are one of the most vindictive and premeditated acts a player can do on the field. The victim is blind and very vulnerable. The 2004 game had multiple chip blocks, where a PV player was actually ejected. One chop block was called yesterday, but PV took many cheap shots from start to finish. Buddy Ryan or Jack Pardee style was warranted in this one.

Viewing the premeditated dirty play from PV one may understand the reasoning. Looking from afar, you may not.

Also, from what I gather from others, PV has all the resources to become a serious contender for foes (lure of beautiful campus, solid academic programs, and fertile recruiting). Focus on winning is obviously not important.

No one is saying to not score, Coach Rob use to do it all the time and said he would continue to score until the other team stops them. Coach Rob would pull his starting players and play others and let them continue scoring and not this classless, non-sportsman like junk Spears does by leaving in his starters until 2:00 to go in the game. Look at what Washington St did a few weeks ago against GSU. They were playing their reserves in the early part of the 2nd half and they were continuing to score which is understood.

Spears can't hold Coach Rob's jock with this type of game playing attitude.

WSU reserves never saw the field until early in fourth quarter and you know it. WSU defensive backfield was loaded with starters and should have been, deep into the fourth quarter. WSU was very scared of BRUgene and knew we could score against their secondary if the right personell wasn't on the field.

CAN WE ALL JUS' GET ALONG??????????

After the 'issues' of last years game, pv should have known gsu was gonna try to score 77 'cause gram believes pv intentionally made cheap shots.

News flash, until the two coaches can have a civilized talk w/ each other, this will continue.

Trust me, he tried!! But he and the Grambling State Tigers could not do it. He tried to shut the team out too, but he and the Grambling State Tigers could not do it.

Congratulations!! Time to move forward.

Have you ever thought about the fact that maybe Bruce stayed in the game because he missed all of last year and these games are helping him to get back comfortable. That's just my take on the situation. I saw plenty of preseason games this year in the NFL where the starting QB was still in the game even when the announcers were asking why. You never know what the coach is thinking but I say if he plays the whole game then let 'em. PV needs to play some defense and stop him. I was hoping for 70 points too because PV plays dirty even their band. They thought they were slick after they started playing when Gram's band quieted down bc Bruce couldn't here and still converted a 3rd and 31. :jump:

Clearly, PV's "Marching Storm" won the halftime show. But in keeping with tradition, once the display was over, the crowd began filtering out into Fair Park.

They tried to score 70 points and break the will and spirit of the players and coaches!! But he and the Grambling State Tigers could not do it. He tried to shut the team out too, but he and the Grambling State Tigers could not do it.

Congratulations!! Time to move forward.

It didn't have to do with pv stopping Grambling. Fumble near the goal line on the first drive of the game and a dropped TD that resulted in a field goal before the half. Blocked punt inside the 10 lead to the pv TD. Really should have been 37-0 at the half. Dayum you Grambling. pv's band has no respect for the team. Frazier is classes. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't around much longer with that D-2 attitude. He fits in at pv perfectly.

Larry Kerlegan is the big loser in all of this..could've got valuable playing time in a big game and should help..but due to personal preferances, the poor kid was given true mop-up duty and with Landers back soon...he may never touch the field

How do you know it was 70 points and not 50 points? As far as I am concerned they tried to score whenever they could...as offenses are suppose to do. The "will and spirit" of the entire PV team (not just the players) was broken when they (PV) started with the cheap shots.

Funny you would say this, because before the game (during pre-game warm ups) Coach Spears attempted to go to Coach Fraizer to shake his hand and Fraizer turned this back on him and walked away.

So brother Jafus, since you have all of the answers about how we attempted to score 70 points, can you tell us why Coach Fraizer wouldn't talk to Coach Spears after the game?

I'm not a genius nor don't want to be but a true "actor" knows how to manipulate an audience...

lets say I don't like Jafus and Jafus doesn't like me and we both know when we're in the same room we won't talk to each other even if we were by ourselves

but now I see a big crowd who are unaware of our likes/dislikes so I'll go over and make a "friendly" gesture knowing the consequences of the relationship....

now, it looks like I'm the "good guy" by premeditated gesture and people who are unaware of the situation will side with me (hence the response by SOG)

simple as that

I can agree the kerlegan should have been playing earlier but the score did not dictate that til late. I do not like the personal foolishness between two coaches at all. Someone has to be the bigger man sooner than later and that does not mean trying to shake someone 's hand, how about a sit down with the commisioner (you suck commish !!!!!!!!) You think i would shake anybody hand after that (SFC) game was over with either. I will keep my comments on here bland cause i may wind up in shreveport again kidnapped.

YOU ARE WRONG ABOUT KERLEGAN. Kerlegan is better than landers ever will be. Once kerlegan gets his chance he will be great. He will have plenty of time get good mop up duty this season anyway.

CAUSE THE SWAC SO GOTDAYUM WEAK THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

GRAMBLING IS GOING TO GRAMBLINHAM AND BAMA ST WILL BE THER WAITING !!!!!!!!!

GRAM WILL WIN THE SCG EASILY !!!!!!

I AM ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR WHEN TEAMS WILL NOT HAVE SO MANY ROOKIE QB'S AND KEY PLAYERS WHO ARE FIRST YEAR PLAYERS !!!!!!!!!

THIS IS DEFINTELY A REAL DOWN YEAR FOR THE SWAC FOR REAL !!!!!!!!!!
