Game 2 all hell. Last season IT WAS one win one loss. 2015 GSU was0-2 At this time. 2014 0-3 at this time all those seasons were good seasons BUT NOW its all hell and saying 2012 season will happen. Bad thing is only schools who came close to gsu record was a rival but folks are acting like this even GSU own. sayes alot smh. Good luck Gmen on the season, and the rest of the SWAC.folks love seeing gram lose oh OTHERS ARE LOSING TOO THOUGH WITH WORSE SCORES FROM THE OTHER TEAMS

That’s the mentality of folks with the winning spirit and tradition. You named a few years when we turned it around, but we can name years when our team were coming off good or great seasons, by started out the next year rough only to end rough. GSU folks don’t want to go through that.

GSU played ULL, not a defending FBS conference champion or top 25 FBS program. A two time defending FCS conference champion and so called top 25 FCS isn’t supposed to get murdered by a lower tier Sun Belt team like that. We should not be getting killed by a mid pack- low pack Southland program as well. We don’t want our kids and future Gramblinites to come into our circle of greatness believing that it’s ok to get raped by FBS programs and get smacked by other FCS programs as long as we can beat SWAC opponents. That’s the mentality that has the SWAC stuck in the deep end.

So, the problem sounds like it isn't Dooley, but moreso the defense. Gram has lost a number of good defensive (system) players the last few years. And if the xfers aren't up to par, then the crabs may have to take a month to adjust. That Bacone cancellation is going to hurt right now. No game this week to see any adjustments.

Or to prepare their QBs... They've basically split time in the first two games. One of them is going to have to play the whole game against Alabama State to get ready for the State Fair Classic. That is not the game to be throwing a QB into with little to no game rhythm.

GSU is the anchor of SWAC Football....PERIOD....we cannot afford to look bad at all!!!

Whether people want to admit it or not a horrible GSU team is horrible for the SWAC. There was no reason for us to lose to Northwestern.

We had a QB who has been on the team 2 years who played like he just started the week before. Meanwhile another QB just got here and is about to take his position....that is not GSU Football.

No matter what our record has been vs the FBS or non SWAC-FCS programs in the modern era of college football, we are expected to at least put up a fight or play/coach with a certain type of passion. We didn’t see that in the past two games, so we want answers.

Programs like Alabama, Texas A&M Commerce, Mount Union or even a JUCO program like East Mississippi are use to fighting for their name and national respect as a division powerhouse. No matter what level they are on, someone better provide answered if they lose to another mid-low level non conference team. GSU fans are concerned for a good reason. The G-Men better show improvement, or the Hornets and Panthers will take us to a dark place.
