You must be in some different circles people already talking about paying Hues Buyout. Dr. Scott should be on the clock. I just pray we come out healthy next weekI am a Grambling fan! We would kick and scream if this was Coach Fobbs. Where is the kicking and screaming for Coach Jackson? Was horrible on defending the RPO. And receivers ran open also. And they lost the battle of the line of scrimmage.
Will it grow? That sounds like it could be a good draw for that region. Destination game...Love to see hbcu culture in New Jersey/NYC....thanks to NFL Network for showing the whole Halftime
Not great report I saw said 7,500What was the attendance like?
It could...they need good hearted HBCU culture lovers behind the operation...Will it grow? That sounds like it could be a good draw for that region. Destination game...
Then why in the hell are we wasting time, money & resources playing in games up north like this? Not great report I saw said 7,500
Didn't ya'll have a game like this in that region before? Early 90s? I remember one of my floridian cousins saying that's how he found out about Grambling since he moved to Manhattan. It could...they need good hearted HBCU culture lovers behind the operation...

Gotcha. I just want Northerners to get a taste of some hbcu.A Grambling fan would know that...i'm from AAMU
.
NYC / NJ use to be a Grambling’s home away from home. We had a 30-year run playing in the region before the long hiatus from the game yesterday.Didn't ya'll have a game like this in that region before? Early 90s? That's the one. My relatives were talking about that one. Prior to that they only knew about TxSU because of my dad's mother's side (grandpa was a Bahamian-Florida-S.Carolina guy yeah I know "how tf?") And FAMU. But when he and some others moved to Manhattan they got to see and enjoyed Grambling.Whitney Young Classic in the Meadowlands when I was growing up.
We told you too and now you see what we told you ~snicker~I tried to told yall!!!
I see nothing said the blind manWe told you too and now you see what we told you ~snicker~
7k in attendanceWill it grow? That sounds like it could be a good draw for that region. Destination game...
I agree. I applaud the promoters for wanting HBCU culture in under exposed regions but this sh*t don't make sense for them to travel that far for only 7K ... losing money and REAL fan support. There are other ways to promote HBCUs without bringing football games to places that don't have a strong connection to the HBCUs playing. Then why in the hell are we wasting time, money & resources playing in games up north like this?
More would have shown up in Hampton or Grambling on their campus stadiums.
Gram isn’t the only team to lose a OCC game hell it wasn’t a blow out 31-35! Grambling isn’t the only team who lost last weekend it’s only game one! In 2011 they went 0-4 the firstI'm disappointed in Grambling's HC. I thought Jackson was gonna have them boys ready this year but it looks like another forgettable season for Grambling is on the horizon. I root for all SWAC teams in OOC games so I was hoping Grambling would pull it off.
