GSU's QB was pretty impressive. He's got some good years ahead of him. He's no Darnell Kennedy though.

ASU ran a triple reverse perfectly. I don't think I have ever seen anything like that ever.

A triple reverse?

Hornets destroy tigers

:redhot:
Hornets destroy Tigers, Hornets are headed for Birmingham and the SWAC championship. ASU 45 GSU 38

The chage in QB had alot to do with it. It takes time for a team to get comfortable with the QB. In this was not the game for them to try this. Maybe Next week against Nichols but not against the Best QB in the swac lets be real. You have to look at some of the mistakes that grambling made as mistakes get use to the Qb. Like I said if it aint broke dont fix it. Doug tried to fix it and now where 7-1 no longer # 3 in the nation.

Man, what kinda isht is that? A triple reverse that worked...
How can Cole even walk around with balls that big!:emlaugh:
Gutsy call...I wouldn't have called that, but dayum that was one helluva chance to take. Congrats.

Now excuse me while I go listen to my alma mater...(heading to the store to buy a bottle of cheap whiskey)

With Eugene, you still scored 38 pts. Your defense let you down in this game.

Looks to me like GSU's comeback caught up with them. That's all. Looks like the kid did his part at QB. Just give Bama St. credit. They won the shoot out. Remember who they have at QB. Everyone shoot their best shoot at the top, because they know the best shoot is coming back. Every know and then the best shoot gets shoot. The question then arises is there a new best shoot.

Bama St. is looking good since they got their QB back and they appear to be getting stronger. They don't appear to stop anyone from scoring however. But, they do put up points. GSU talks about having defense, but I'm seeing a lot of points going up against the good teams. So.... Looks like we are going to have an exciting Bayou Classic. But, it is looking more and more like I right when I say GSU it will be "9 Next Time" in the Superdome for Bayou Classic on NBC.

PEACE!!!

It ain't no fun when the rabbit's got the gun, but it's just a matter of Bama State outplaying us today. It took a good effort on their part to get the win.

I know you jags are happy, that's cool. But rest assured, we do not have to panic. We regroup on Nichols State, take the off week to prepare for SU in the Dome (kick your azzes) and then take on whomever wins the East.

We ain't going nowhere...we will successfully defend our championship!

Not really, we wanted to be the ones to put that blemish on your season. The BC decides the west anyway. I guess you will just have to finish the season with two losses, that all. By the way, please polish our trophy prior to returning it. It's loan period is about to expire.

BTW, only 13,029 showed up. What's up ASU, what you waiting on, where are the fans?

Judging from the stats, it looks like we may have ran a bit too much. But I'm sure Bama State's getting off to a big lead had something to do with that.

Looks like Eugene had a decent job passing, also noticed Hymes came through as receiver. Apparently Ellis Spears didn't play due to the concussion.

Man, Kennedy was off the hook! I really thought we would get to him and rough him up. Looks like the Coles had a good offensive scheme to keep him out of harms way. A good qb for sure!

You're right he's no Kennedy! Eugene actually goes to class. Besides he's just a freshman.
