When we play at PVAM we also draw a crowd.

When we play in Alcorn all 2000 citizens come out to see us.

Trust, it is not A&M that they are coming to see.

Alabama A&M (7-4,4-3) vs. Alcorn State (6-5,4-2)

The agreement to play on Thursday was fully coordinated with our faithful members. We had not planned to purchase new windsuits for 2005, but dress out in golf type pull overs. As you recall the last time we played GSU in the boot the heat was unbearable. Because we agreed to play on Thurs, we decided to dress out in short sleeves and short pants. I am sure Robber will have his camera at the game.

AAMU did SU a favor by taking them to Indy, now we want to ensure Bruce get seen on National TV. I am glad most of you can now see the value of having AAMU in the SWAC. The media waited years to see AAMU move up so they could highlite us on TV. We will have the only game played that night.

You shole is right MD... (showing respect to an older senile azzed bruh).

Looking forward to the game and talking with you Bulldogs. We will exchange info prior to the game so we can hook up.

You mean less than half of the players mothers bothered to show up.

AAMU will have a crowd in Grambling because 90% of our fans can take vacation time.
Well, it seems funny that they can't take any vacation on Saturdays (except when Southern comes to town), because most of yall home games are empty (< 6,000)

:lmao: Now you know, if you can't make Saturdays, you will not make a Thursday game. Funny...carry on. :lmao:

I'll see you there Mighty Dog.

:wavey: MikeBigg. Count me in for a LKK BBQ dinner/donation. Holla.

All I wanna know is can someone pick me up from the airport if I come to this game! :) :wavey:

Mike Rob,

I may have to tag up with you and the J State Roadtrip crew to make it a complete football weekend.

I've never been to Grambling OR Memphis...:(

YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE PIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POOR YOU IT IS A MUST THAT YOU COME AND SEE THE REBIRTH IF THE TIGERS ATTACK AAMU

We don't worry about attendance, all those who want to attend the game, do it at their own risk. I will remind you again, we are making more money off football since we have been a member of the SWAC than in the SIAC. During the SIAC game we averaged 12.5 fans, as Lewis stated we are now up to 23 which is a 100% increase. What other SWAC Team can boast about doubling their attendance?

We are going to get on those Spirit Coaches (Bus) BTW they have outfitted them with DVDs for the 2005 season and we will be featuring the best tailgateing school in the SWAC. Maybe we will come down on Wednesday and leave after the game.

This makes it easier for me Ingrid... It will be Purple Thursday North that night. I gotta talk with some of the LKK bruhs about doing a "roadtrip" for this one and then again when SU plays TxSU on a Thursday. See, Thursday is the "it's ok to go out" night.

Thanks for the BBQ donation... I'll make sure there's a ticket with your name on it.

Well, we know it was Wash Day in Alcorn, and the rest of the townspeople were down at the river with their baskets and hampers.

Ooop, I'm sorry this is not the smack board. Please forgive me.

Well alrighty then!!! :D

Are you gonna bring your Grambling Dancin' shoes to Memphis as well? ;)

MB, we will not have time to party like Robber, because we will be in Grambling on some serious business. GSU is on our to beat list.

BTW, my line number was #3, therefore you know if I was #3 and 6' 1" we took over the frat as lamps.

:headphone That's not the only game that is supposed to be played on a Thursday. I hear that we suppose to be playing Texas Southern in Houston on a Thursday

I guarantee SU will have 1000 times the people in Houston than AAMU will have in Gram. The problem is it probable would have been 10000 times the people.

From what I have heard from the Jaguar faithful, they will be in Houston for that game, no matter when its played. Just will be a longer weekend for some, and it will give the SU SWAC fans a chance to see other games on Sat. Now thats what I have heard. Very few complaints, more are excited.

I heard the same thing to It will be exciting

Oh Happy Day

The game has been moved to Thursday night (9/8/2005). Will be televised on ESPNU.

Black folks surrender a magnificent Saturday (and weekend-based) tradition.

What really is there to celebrate?
