Grambling State vs AAMU cancelled

I told y'all asses to move the Valley and AAMU makeup game to last weekend after PV had to postpone! Now we've lost all of our home games this Spring due to inaction by the SWAC front office! We could've made up the Grambling game on April 24th. We still can if we play Valley this weekend, but that would mean the SWAC front office would actually look out for an Alabama school for once (not gonna happen).

I'm gonna hold off on commenting about Grambling right now, because I'm too upset, but something just doesn't seem right about this coincidence.

Flexing the game to this weekend would be beneficial for both parties (not only for both teams to knock off rust but a possible Sunday flex to ESPNU/ESPN2)

But again... I think as you said, the SWAC would have to nudge our AD into make this happen or it aint happening

A&M says show them the covid results. Lol

Man I really wish A&M could play this game. But we all know ain’t no way in hell Fobbs was going 0-4. Honestly I don’t know how they can play in the bayou classic at this point cause how you cancel 2 games without even knowing how your team is affected. Fobbs probably wanna cancel so he can have 2 weeks of spring ball and fire and hire some coaches ASAP.
The ole can't lose if we don't play. Wonder where they got such a idea. 🙄

My last comment on this matter.

Just read an article which stated that over 2800+ border detained children tested positive for CV19. This thing, it's nothing to play with and can easily spread, even via food (what got my raggedy old azz June 2020 - thanks "supermarket produce manager" smfh ). 43 of us were infected on the same day, while grocery shopping.

Remain vigilant.

I think it has to come from the SWAC office, sanctioned by the SWAC office, right?
Every other school who had COVID cases came out and said "postponed". Grambling said "canceled" with no chance of make up. That's what makes this suspicious.

Besides I'm sure the SWAC wants as many games broadcasted that they can squeeze out of this Spring. This is also lost exposure.

From fall play, no cases were reported from on the field play. Supposedly all players were tested on Friday before playing games on Saturday. At Bama State, players and staff are tested on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We know the virus can be dormant and produce negative results for 5 to 7 days.

Probably airborne.

If there are Covid issues I hope players and staff continue to be healthy. We have lost so many people to this virus it’s really sad. I do believe that the fall will serve as a challenge but in my opinion that’s why you have to play in the fall so that you can get those game guarantees to cover your negative earnings from the spring.

AAMU has no more open dates between now and the end of the season to reschedule that game.

But what about the common open dates grambling have other schools?

It's sure fishy how they canceled all the games except the one against southern. They still have Apr 24th open...
