I just got back from the game. I hope that we keep Larry Kerlegan as our starting QB. Now if we could get the defense up to par...we should be in pretty good shape for the rest of the season.

I left after the halftime show and I thought GSU QB was legit. I think someone said he was 18-23, but he could've been 20-23. I think UH tried to contain him by putting a QB spy on. THat didnt work either, GSU coaches would be the worst coaches in america if they don't start him next week.

The halftime show was great. UH put on a show with GSU...GSU got a standing ovation after they were finish...

Props to the G-Men for making the SWAC look good. I saw Landers play aganist Hampton and he looked shaky. I will be suprised if Landers is the QB next week after the performance Larry Kerlegan put on aganist a D-1 Team. I hope he is the QB for the remainding of the year.

Didn't they play a D-I team the last couple of weeks?

is Landers injured? What is Kerlegan's classification?

Landers has a hip pointer...he's a redshirt sophomore. Kerlegan was in the same signing class but was a prop...therefore he's a junior in classification. If he can make satisfactory progress in his classwork, he can get the "prop" year back (have it reclassified as a redshirt year). That would mean he has 3 years counting this one if he passes the needed courses.

Seems we have two good qb's... Landers played well in the two previous games and was near the top in qb statistics. BUT, Kerlegan is what I call "Lightning in a Bottle" !

WE HAVE ONE QB!!!!!

I saw wit my own eyes and that was awesome for someone who had not played ral tiem in a real game in 2years.

That was great.

If Kerlegan is not out starter we deserve to lose. He is the better athlete and you want your best players in the game...that is if you are trying to win.
