Grambling SHUTDOWN

Again I know we all talk smack but still its all love. None of our programs should be treated this way or experience some of the things these young men have faced. When we all left our univerisities we all share the good and bad with laughter but clearly there is nothing funny about this. I really hope GSU gets it together not just for the football team sake, but for the university as well. The big picture is whatever recruits you had coming, i am pretty sure they wont now unless whomever comes in and correct a lot of mess. I am reading about players talking about weight rooms and etc. Hell when you came on your visit im pretty sure you saw all that then and much more. At the end of the day each player strap them pads on the same way and step onto the field. Its about HEART and manhood. Just because you have the best equipment and etc means you gonna be a better player. Go push or pull a sled and give me a guy flipping or pulling a tractor tire and watch the effort and etc.

No but they (football team) needs to understand that firing is a part of life. As you get older you cannot get what you want ALL the time.

I personally dont care for Grambling or anyother HBCU not named JSU...they can stay home for all I care its just a game if the problems are that deep at Grambling then maybe they should sit out...I hope they fix whatever issues they have over there!

Seriously, though you gotta respect the Grambling kids on some level. All too often we've been dying for one of these teams to take a stand against a member school or the NCAA.

You're right that is a part of life. But when things of this nature happen, you have a scripting that usually follows regardless of who it is... I don't know of one school that put off talking to the students about the firing of a head coach. But the biggest thing is the bus ride and lack of meals which could be seen as a lack of concern. Regardless of what else is going on in Grambling, I hope that it is resolved soon.

This is bigger than a football game.

Ehhh yea they get a little respect but they would get more if they complained and then said F-it and start winning some games..They are at a HBCU for a reason they have lost ever game this season for a reason....THEY FLAT OUT SUCK...Now the long busride the day before the game it happens the lack of meals was wrong but you and I both know the horror stories involve with HBCU sports..I still remember those damm "wolf booty" sandwhiches from the cafe we use to have to eat after a game on baseball trips. I mean it happens...I remember the old weight room at JSU it was trash...and with the financial situation Grambling is in I understand they dont have it like that right now.

How in the HELL you are gonna make demands but you are trash and cant catch passes out there!

If you want a 5 star treatment get good and become a 5 star recruit and go to top 25 football University otherwise shutup...

THOSE GRAMBLING KIDS ARE SOFT...I HOPE WE PUT 70 on them! Sorry Ass causing all this fuss!
