Grambling has best Halftime Show

As for the home game deal, GSU's marching band is known for the performances on the road (not in Robinson Stadium). Playing and performing in Robinson Stadium isn't a priority at Gram. So, why would an informed writer use that as the selling point for the selection. Again, just reads a little back handed to me.

That is because you don't have the facts. Why are you all reading into the statement. Apparently the the guy attended a Grambling game. He probably was in the press box where they serve...guess what .....Fried Chicken, pasta salad and chocolate chip cookies among other things like red beans & rice and some gumbo.

I didn't read anyone's comments, so that was just my take on the write up. So again, I did say if the reading is misread, I still wanted to congratulate GSU. Halftime performing is something I dedicated a large portion of my life to doing. I certainly performed to give the viewer more to talk about than the chicken, etc... they had to eat. But, to not take this topic away from what could be positive, I'll just leave it at - congrats...

If you all had read the damn article, you would have realized that he is summing up HIS travels for the year. Of the games he went to GRAMBLING was best. He did not mention going to any other black school. This is a sports writer from the other side of the country for god's sake. Many are quick to taunt GSU before knowing the entire story. I personally don't believe their band is worth a squat, but I am sure it is better than the other one's the writer had witnessed in the past year. I think he was impressed with the food more than anything...

If you can reason GSU's band being the best in the SWAC... You might need to help Bush find the Weapons of Mass Destruction. You have the illusionist skill of David Copperfield, David Blaine and Houdini wrapped into one.

This was supposed to be a fun "Year in Review" article. I don't see how folks get at odds over something like this.

BEING GIVEN THE TITLE BEST HALFTIME SHOW BY WHOMEVER IT WAS IS HORRIBLE.. THE ONLY REASON THEY GAVE THAT TITLE TO YOU GUYS IS BECAUSE THEY SAW YOU GUYS ON THE TAMPAX COMMERCIAL......:sick:

This is just sad!!!!

This is just one man's opinion and some of yall are all bent out of shape. No need for me to try and reason because some of you all are not mature enough to comprehend. If this guy said any band in the SWAC or MEAC other than Grambling,....the content of the posting would remain the same.
