Grambling Band has accident in Fordyce, Arkansas?

My sister called me a little while ago. She said that all 3 buses were involved in a accident. Can anybody confirm this?

FORDYCE, Ark. (AP) — Two or more buses carrying members of the renowned Grambling State University marching band were involved in a traffic crash in southern Arkansas, injuring at least a half-dozen people.

Dallas County sheriff's dispatcher Rory Tucker said Friday the Grambling buses were northbound Friday afternoon on U.S. 167. Tucker said it wasn't known if any of the injuries were life-threatening.

Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said six people were hurt, with none of the injuries believed to be grave. Tucker said a dozen people were taken to a hospital in Fordyce, just south of where the crash occurred.

Grambling is scheduled to play Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 1 p.m. Saturday in Little Rock.

Fordyce is about 65 miles south of Little Rock.

Exactly!!! Too much is happening these days. I'm happy there isn't any serious injuries.

No lie....I never DID like riding charter buses....:scared:....and I haven't been on one since my last year in the Boom....1984!! :shame:

Those drivers made me a little :uhoh:.
 



Wow, first Morehouse and now Gram. Prayers up to those involved and their families. I hope everyone is okay and recovers mentally and physically from this accident.
 
Last I heard, about an hour ago, is there are no serious injuries. Keep the prayers coming because we all know about delayed pain after an accident. Not only that, I'm sure they'll be nervous on the ride back so pray for safety and peace of mind. Thanks TSPN family!

The GSU family and the World Famed are in my prayers. We've all had some kind of experience with these charter buses. But I'm glad to hear that none of the injuries were fatal.
