GOP Office Vandalism in NC.

I don't know if this is a case of sour grapes or yet another metamorphasis of actions like those committed by the radical environmentalists who trash SUVs (Earth Liberation Front). Either way, this is not a good thing. Let's hope this doesn't escalate.

GOP Office Vandalism

People are not happy with this President - he won the election with 51% of Americans that voted. Some people are afraid of this administration - this guy went to the extreme - others are seeking citizenship in other countries. This administration has let it be known that is not about to reach out - they got the majority of votes and they will executed their agenda.

Ground Zero Suicide Inspired by Election

NEW YORK - A 25-year-old man from Georgia who was apparently distraught over President Bush (news - web sites)'s re-election shot and killed himself at ground zero. Andrew Veal's body was found Saturday morning inside the off-limits site, said Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. A shotgun was found nearby, but no suicide note was found, Coleman said.

Veal's mother said her son was upset about the result of the presidential election and had driven to New York, Gus Danese, president of the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, told The New York Times in Sunday's editions.

Friends said Veal worked in a computer lab at the University of Georgia and was planning to marry.

"I'm absolutely sure it's a protest," Mary Anne Mauney, Veal's supervisor at the lab, told The Daily News. "I don't know what made him commit suicide, but where he did it was symbolic."

Police were investigating how Veal entered the former World Trade Center site, which is protected by high fences and owned by the Port Authority.

Since the final numbers are all in now....he won by more than 52%.

The highest margin in recent history.

He also got more popular votes than any president in history. I think the problem lies with the Micheal Moore's and Goerge Soros' of the world that got their base so wound up. I mean think about it...these are the same type of people that throw red paint on peoples fur coats. But I notice they know who to mess with...you don't see them throwing red paint on Suge Knight, Snoop Dog or P-Diddy's fur coats....cuz they know they will catch a 9mm slug.

They attacked that HQ when it was vacant...they know Republicans are pro-gun.

Just like the kook that I caught peeling the Bush bumper stickers off my car.

When that 50 year old white woman saw a 6'3" 290lb brother standing behind here she dayum isht on herself.

I politely asked her had she lost her dayummed mind...she then took off running and and fell.

And no I didn't help her up.

You sound like my boy here in ATL. Wouldnt open the doors for white women, wouldnt help this white lady up when she fell, wouldnt hold the elevator doors for white women. :smh:

That's as bad as me putting a Kerry/Edwards sticker over this guy's Bush/Cheaney sticker on his truck.

On the story about the suicide, I heard that and was going to post on it. What a stupid idiot that person. Are you kidding me?? You mean to tell me I'm going to committe suicide because, say, Hillary wins the next election? Give me a fickin' break. This moron HAD to be white,,,,, (but then again, using these generalization-that only white people do crazy stuff like this-is becoming increasingly harder to do what with blacks committing more inane acts today).

Now to your other comments about people not being happy, seeking citizenship in other countries; if people are so mad they want to renounce their citizenship in this country and move to another country, more power to them (heaven knows we got at least 15 immigrants to take their place). That makes it that much more easier for the winners to consolidate power and mandates. (but what a bunch of really sore losers. do they think just because they go to another country everything will go their way? just the growing mentality of our society these days I guess. I bet you what,, i bet the black liberal elite won't be leaving the U.S. any time soon because the dems lost. yeah, i can just see it now,,, Jessie Jackson, no no better yet Al Sharpton calls it quits and moves to Nigeria; it is to laugh.)

As for people not being happy, it's one thing to be dissappointed and go to work to change things through the political system (like the reps/cons did after enduring two terms of Clinton.), it's another thing to turn dissappointment into actions like this in NC or worse.

The one thing about this country has been our ability to vigorously disagree, but still maintain civil discourse, our system of government and exchange of political power peacefully(for the most part). What i'm seeing in this incident is not a good sign.

 yeah,,, this is the irony of the fanatical left among black people that I just don't understand. yeah blacks are, for the most part, ultra-leftwing blowhards yeah, yeah,,,,, but I think that's mostly on racial issues because, just as you say, the Suge Knights, Snoop Dogs, Jessie Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world may talk a good one when it comes to blasting Bush/reps/cons and getting out the general DNC vote, but these people don't really and truely buy into the fanatical left like these idiot ELF (are you telling me the average negro gonna sign up to defacing SUVs and sabataging SUV dealerships because they "hurt the environment"?! half these dopes are doing everything they can to BUY AND DRIVE an SUV and "finally gets a piece of de pie"!!! ) and animal rights hacks nor do most black people other than a faction of blacks in our largest cities particularly the west and east coast cities.

Bartram - I totally disagree with your statement. Most southern blacks are religious and economic moderates / conservatives and social moderates / liberals.

The Bush administration is religious conservative, liberal economics and faux social conservative.

The Republican Party could have had the southern black vote a long time ago if they stop using the race card to get the white vote. They are slowly moderating their message, but when it?s close the race card comes out.

oh? what race card did Bush us this election? the guy has blacks in higher positions than any president in history. i don't recall any race cards being used, not even here in the king of race baiting states Alabama. what is used is religion, prayer in school, school vouchers, family values. that may be vailed race card because you know they are talking about mostly white people, but still, there's nothing stopping black folk from embracing religion, prayer in school, school vouchers and family values. in fact many blacks embrace the same values; it's just that blacks and rep/con whites can't agree on racial issues.

I disagree with you also. I don't think most blacks are social liberals (my definition of social liberal is agreeing with gay marriage and being fanatical liberals on the environment, etc.).

the democrats had the black vote when George Wallace was a democrat. i don't think it is the party that has to do the changing, I think it is the mindset of the (black) people that has to do the changing.

It?s good to see that you basically agree with me in your first paragraph. We are basically saying the same thing. I was not speaking of National, but if you want a couple of Bush examples - it?s from the first time he ran for President - His appearance at Bob Jones University and his minions telling people that Senator McCain had a Black baby are just two uses of race by Bush.

Gay marriage is a religious issue. For most people in America, Marriage is a divided into two parts - Religious and an agreement with the state. If religion was not part of the issue, Americans would not be as crazed over this issue. They can?t separate it - that?s the problem.

The democrats still have the black vote because of several reasons.
1. Most of the current Republican leaders are faux conservatives
2. They use race as a wedge issue (in social areas ? other times more blatantly)

DUMB-ARSE.

Protest ............ give me a f'in break. The only thing this nut will be remembered for is being an IDIOT.

Some people are sick and don't know what they are doing......so I guess you could call them insane and need help..
Some people are fragile and figure there is no other way.

Some people, like this guy if this story pans out as far as the reasons he did it, ARE JUST STUPID NUT CASES.

Kill yourself because BUSH got re-elected?!?!
This guy was as much of a looney left fruitcake as some looney right fruitcake going around advocating death for abortion doctors.........
:smh:

Neither is wraped too tight to begin with.

Maybe I should post this as another issue. I think sucide can be a sane act. This has nothing to with this guy, but its broader question.

In that case the answer depends on the situation.
It can be committed by SANE people that may "detatch" from reality for the few seconds it takes to do this act.

You're on point there. Many of Blacks realize that Southern Republicans hide their racist views behind the cloak of conservatism. They speak just like the Southern Democrats did in the 50s. Southern Democrats were moral and religious when they refused to allow Blacks to receive quality education, lynched folks at a moment notice, and refused folks the right to vote because of the color of their skin.

Today the Southern Republicans talk about their moral isssues and family values (abortion and same sex marriages.) I always thought morality was a very vast set of laws impacting everything from overeating to drinking alcohol, and respecting another's person's property and pornography.
