  • older
  • have had kids in a HS program,
  • got 6 kids - all seniors and including the band captain who is also the son of the booster president - suspended this year because they chose to go drinking before the last away football game,
  • was a youth pastor for 10 years and a senior pastor for the last 5

I know these kids don't think because their parents don't think. My earlier post was about the BD. Here is another question for you: Where are the parents? Where are the chaperones? Why didn't they stop it? Why did they accept such risk?

My daughter was a DM in 2006-07. She loved to have fun as much as any kid, but doing something - leading something - like this would have never entered her mind. Why? Because getting suspended for something like this would cost her reputation, freedom, scholarships, and the the ability to sit down for 4-5 days. And, yes, she was 18 years old.

Yes big brother,...you are right. However, I thought I saw some chaperones wearing tags. They look too old to be in the band. That noise just stood out to me. I can't stand it.

Like the inconquerable Soulja boy...LOL...

That was after the 4th of July parade and it was a combination of students from the precision camp...meaning....students from ALL over teh state, NOT JUST ONE PROGRAM as a lot of you are ASSuming. (in the white). Once the parade is over, you are to find your parents or get on the train and go home. These groups opted not to.
