I knew this was going to happen.

Now every little town Mayor is going to get his 15 minutes of PC fame by breaking the law. All of them need to do like the AG of New York. It may only be a minor offense, but charge their arses with marring people without a liscense. The Mayor of the town in New York has about 70 charges on him now.

Hell, I need to break some laws in the name of the Constitution. I don't like the Judge from Alabama, but fair is fair. When he broke the law over that monument, all these groups and more was raising hell. Now these same groups are silent .........................AND THE SO CALLED LAW ARE OVERLOOKING THEIR POLITICALLY CORRECT ARSES. All this other stuff being discussed don't matter.:(
 
Apparently no ones really GingAF about the issue. Well, in terms of the legality of it all.

Totally out of hand.

This has gotten totally out of hand and looks like nobody has the backbone to stand up against it. Oh well. Just the way of society today. The only thing that grates on me about the whole situation is the constant comparisons to the civil rights movement.

Bart, the problem I have with this Gay Marriage thing is, we are flirting with mayors and judges becoming dictators. Think about it, these guys are representatives of the Govt. They are supposed to up hold the law when in essence the mayors of these cities conducting the ceremonies are BREAKING the laws on the books.

What's going to happen when we have a mayor or Governer decide, "I'm going to start allowing people out of jail because I don't think he did it"?

and the thing that gets me about this mayor in San Fran doing this (like I stated previously), is that the EXACT reasoning behind busting judge Roy Moore down in Alabama with his Ten Commandments issues,,, WAS BECAUSE "HE WAS IN DEFIANCE OF A FEDERAL COURT ORDER"!!!!

now look,,, fair is fair. if you gonna bust Roy Moore's ssa for flaunting the law,,,, why aren't you doing the same to this mayor in San Fransisco (and now all these other places popping up breaking the rule of law?)??? fair is only fair here. as i have said,,, i'm no bible thumper here,,, but how in the lleh is it that this country is going to have more heartburn with a simple TC display (although I am on record as being against it in the case of Moore and Alabama because he was in violation of a court order) den gays bum-rushing the institution of marriage (and i'm not married,, but now COME ON!! Why must gays be "married" instead of in legal unions or whatever??!!) ??!!! :confused:

Besides, the issue of marriage, be it gay or straight is highly overrated in my book anyway. I have other things to worry about. Like how I'm gonna pay my rent and get the things I want without losing most if not ALL of my sanity?
