Pick'em

Game One: Jacksonville St. at Alabama A&M: The surprising Bulldogs are back on track, bearing semblance to their 2006 team, and other teams are starting to take notice. Alabama A&M will play hard against Jacksonville St. and will give Perilloux a run for his money. AAMU 30-Jacksonville St. 21

Edward Waters College vs. Alabama St.: The college football vindication tour continues for the Hornets as they face a very winnable opponent. It's Alabama St's to lose.: ASU 20-Edward Waters 13

Alcorn St. vs. Central Michigan: All Alcorn can hope for in this matchup is that the pairing gives the team valuable experience they can use against SWAC foes.: Alcorn 3- CMU 56

Arkansas A M&N vs. Mississippi Valley State: AAM&N has a semblance of a college football team. AAM&N 34-MVSU 17.

Tenn. St. vs The Southern University: Southern football team and fans take out their anger against the Tigers. Southern 41, Tenn. St. 21.

Texas College vs. sTu: sTu gets into the win column today against one of the forerunners of the SWAC, Texas College. Best thing TC could have done, giving A.W. Mumford practice to fine tune his domination of the SWAC with Southern. TC 10-sTu 40.

Game of the Weak: Grambling State vs. Jackson St: An investigation will be launched into how bad Gram demolishes JSt. Gram 56, JsT 10
