I thought ya'll said this chick was an attorney. I can understand her not having a law license in NC, but she would rather be on the streets than get a job? That is what this is about. He probably told her to get a job, but she is refusing, as that will hurt her in court when it comes to a spousal support award. The article noted they met in college but did not reference her education. If it did, public opinion would be split. Either this is a horrible reporter or a hack job. Instead of the support center, she should have went to the unemployment office.
Note to fellas: If you want a stay at home wife, you better find a way to make her get back into her field if things go South. And before she knows you are contemplating splitting.

After remaining silent for almost a year since the arrest of her estranged husband, North Carolina Central football coach Henry Frazier III on domestic assault charges, Turner-Frazier is talking. Truth be told, she might have remained mum, but desperate circumstances have forced her to come out of hiding.
Turner-Frazier and the couple’s two children are on the verge of being evicted from their Morrisville home.
Frazier moved out of the house after his arrest last May and has not returned. However, post separation support requires the supporting spouse to provide financially for the petitioner.
Frazier, now entering his third season at NCCU, earns $250,000 a year.
Turner-Frazier, a stay-at-home mother, said her husband of 15 years continued to pay the $2,500 a month rental fee through the end of December, but stopped with no warning.
She was issued an eviction notice from landlord Richard Cerruto of San Francisco after two months in arrears. Cerruto also sent her an email stating that Frazier’s Oct. 1, 2012, check had bounced.
In a letter mailed out to “family, friends and sorors†and obtained by The Tribune, Turner-Frazier writes that Frazier “shut off all the utilities in the house.â€
“He is leaving the children and I without water, without heat, without power, without phone service; and he is deliberately dragging out our court hearing with a determination to get me evicted,†she said.
Frazier’s lawyer, Nicole D. Slade, emailed a response to the allegations: “We are very saddened that Ms. Turner decided to disseminate false and slanderous information regarding such a sensitive and personal matter. Divorce is sometimes complicated, and we choose not to entertain such erroneous allegations. Mr. Frazier has been in compliance with all requirementsand, in fact,gone beyond what was required. Proceedings are coming to a close. We must put our trust in the judicial system to do what is right for the children, Mr. Frazier and Ms. Turner.â€
Morrisville police were called to the couple’s house on May 14, 2012. According to the police report, Turner-Frazier had a “red mark on her upper left arm and her glasses were bent.†She refused medical attention.
The report also said that Frazier was leaving the house just as police arrived. He was later apprehended and placed under arrest for assault. He was granted $1,500 bail.
The university initially suspended him with pay. Frazier, who has a morals clause in his contract, was reinstated on July 23, and court documents showed he was enrolled in an abuse treatment program.
Turner-Frazier said NCCU gave the impression that the legal issues had been resolved after Frazier’s return, but that wasn’t the case.
“They even said I was trying to get through the court proceedings as quickly as possible. That was not true. He had been deliberately dragging out the spousal support hearings. I have been trying to get spousal support since May,†she said.
As her financial situation grew worse, Turner-Frazier contacted interim Chancellor Charles Becton about her lack of support.
“….It is my sincere hope that NCCU will take action to hold accountable one of its most highest paid and high profile employees,†she wrote in an email obtained by The Tribune. “As a dependent spouse, my livelihood as a woman and mother are at stake, and our children are hurting unnecessarily.â€

It's just sad.
A woman who is capable of taking care of herself very well. Yet, she is determined to stick it to him, willing to embarrass him and risk making him lose his career in the process. :smh: Vindictive and evil. Has no clue that it might be a good idea for all involved to handle this amicably. Nope. Gotta do it the only way a Black woman knows how - act a fool. With her silly friends and ... sorors ... on the sidelines cheering her on.
Then Black women want to know why men treat them so badly.
That's why some men are down and dirty from the jump. Ruthless. Vicious. Cold-blooded. But, for some strange reason these crazy broads love that even more. :shame:

“North Carolina Central University is aware of the arrest of Henry Frazier III, head football coach, on (Monday), August 19,” NCCU spokeswoman Ayana Hernandez said in a statement released on Tuesday. “Coach Frazier has been suspended with full pay in accordance with university policies and procedures while the matter is being investigated by legal authorities. Dwayne Foster, assistant head coach, will serve as acting head football coach.”
Frazier, who has been preparing for his third NCCU season, was charged with violating a domestic violence protective order, taken into custody and released on $5,000 bond. It’s a misdemeanor offense, and Frazier is scheduled to deal with it in a Wake County courtroom on Sept. 30.
The situation is nothing like it sounds, said attorney Ralph Frasier, who represents Frazier.
“He will be vindicated,” Frasier said.
According to a police report, the protective order was violated at the Cary residence of Frazier’s ex-wife, Lanier Turner-Frazier, at around 2 p.m. on Monday.
Police cited no evidence of bodily harm to Turner-Frazier, and the report noted that no weapons, alcohol or other illegal substances were involved. The offender didn’t use force to enter the residence and caused no property damage, according to the report.
That’s because Frazier wasn’t there; he was on campus at NCCU, Frasier said.
The police report said that a juvenile male was at Turner-Frazier’s residence. That young man is the son of Frazier and his ex-wife, and he delivered a note from his father to Turner-Frazier about a parking ticket that was generated either by her or her biological daughter that Frazier has raised as his own, Frasier said.
In the note, Frazier, in a non-threatening way, explained that he’d taken care of the ticket and would deduct what he paid from Turner-Frazier’s alimony, Frasier said. The letter was hand-delivered by the son, in keeping with “the pattern of practice” that Frazier and Turner-Frazier have used since their separation to communicate about financial matters, Frasier said.
The protective order appears to have been in place from a situation that reportedly was resolved about this time a year ago.
