Four Teams that can Beat Alabama

Alabama was susceptible last year to a good passing team though a lot of folks that don't watch week end and week out simply don't know. LSU QB passed for over a 60% completion percentage last year. The following week, I knew TAMU was going to give them problems having looked at them several times before the Bama game. Also, the other team the Bama has problems with was Georgia that has a very good balanced attack. To beat Bama, you must have a balanced offense. You have got to stretch field to open up your offense. Unless Bama has solidified their pass defense against SEC strong teams, someone will beat them this year. I suspect it will be LSU or Georgia in the championship game. I don't think it will be TAMU though. Manziel seems to be possessed by stupidity and confusion and their defense will be a weakness. Lastly, Bama as most of you all know is the beneficiary of a very weak schedule (no Florida, Georgia or South Carolina) which IMHO is a damn disgrace.

But they still play Arkansas, LSU, Auburn,Texas A&M, MSU, UT and Ole Miss which are no slouch teams. Any of these teams could beat Bama. Va Tech could possibly beat them also. Alabama is beatable like I said in my earlier post.

You're speaking from a bias perspective. I don't care what happen yesterday or last year and to whom. Alabama's schedule is a national disgrace........

Deuce they are going down this year. lol I know you love Bama, but I don't see them going undefeated. They will at least lose one game.

That's extremely slouchy. The only team on there that are decent you listed is LSU and a shaky TAMU. You basically listed their entire division (mandatory games) +1. Their inter-divisional conference schedule is a joke and nauseating at best.

Why does that matter when their division is the toughest in college football and has been for many years? Yet, they consistently win the toughest division in college football. No one else can say that. Many of these other schools have to schedule tough out-of-conference games because their conference is crappy. Bama doesn't have that problem.

Well, Bama's schedule is rated as the weakest in the SEC, and among the worst in terms of SOS in all the FBS.

That's the reputation. However Arkansas who was an integral part of that equation has tanked. Besides, as I stated those are mandatory games. My issue is with the inter-divisional schedule. Again no Georgia, Florida or South Carolina for 2 years during the regular season. That's some b.s.
 
Bama can't help that Auburn and Arkansas are down. They would usually improve their SOS significantly. Y'all are wanting them to play Georgia, Florida and South Carolina too? I really don't think playing Georgia, Florida and South Carolina matter because Bama can still play the best school in the country that is not in the SEC and beat them senseless. Not playing those other schools has no bearing on whether or not they are the best team in the nation. Those SEC East teams have an opportunity in the SEC Championship game. None of them have gotten it done. Not playing them in the regular season doesn't discredit Bama at all when Bama beats the best the SEC East has to offer. And the best the rest of the country has to offer.

Why am I defending Bama? I hate Bama! :shame:

For the record, the teams at the link are Ohio St., Texas A&M, Stanford, and South Carolina. Of those four, the one that concerns me the most is South Carolina - strictly because of Spurrier. As I said in an earlier post, Saban would beat the brakes off Urban Meyer and Ohio State, Texas A&M won't beat Bama two years in a row, and I really, really like Stanford, but they ain't ready for Bama.

Hell yea! :lol: :emlaugh: LSU plays Florida every year, South Carolina last year and Georgia this year. Are you kidding me? Hell yea! :lol: :emlaugh: At the very least in a similar format (you better believe playing those teams have a bearing; how can you say 3 teams in the nations top 10 has no bearing?).

1) Alabama
5) Georgia
6) South Carolina
7) Texas A&M
9) Florida
12) LSU

JROCK, this is the SEC, not the SWAC. :lol: Everybody don't play everybody every year :emlaugh: . Just be patient, Bama will play all those teams in due time, and LSU will not have to play those teams in due time . . . .

Stop perpetrating a fraud and shining for the SEC at the expense of the SWAC. :lol: :emlaugh: You know damn well LSU has a problem with those permanent inter-divisional appointed teams i.e. FL/LSU & AL/TN. That is part of the problem of this revolving format. You should have known better than to address your quote to me. You may have fooled SUJAG with that baloney but did you really come at me with that foolishness? To be fair about Alabama, they did just play a home and home with Florida in 2010 and 2011, and South Carolina in 2009 and 2010. They just lucked out that those were mediocre seasons for both teams. I don't get the whole hoopla about the schedule anyway. Florida had to play at Texas A&M, South Carolina, Georgia, and LSU last season. Heck Vanderbilt wasn't an easy win either last season.

It is not a big statement to say that Alabama is going to lose at least 1 game. Saban has only had 1 undefeated season at Alabama.
