Four Teams that can Beat Alabama

Hey don't sleep on Ohio St or Stanford either. Meyer knows how to beat the SEC. That is the real dark horse.

Ohio St. is my least worry. Saban will beat the brakes off Meyer. Tebow has already started crying, just thinking about it.

I can see Stanford. Can see Georgia. But, that's about it.

Auburn. :|
Texas A&M.
LSU :shame:
South Carolina. :smh:
Ohio State?

Looks like Deuce ain't the only one "miscalculating" LSU. :emlaugh:

The full AP poll is below, with first-place votes in parentheses:

I said "people" (plural everywhere but Alabama) miscalculating. :emlaugh:

I think Clemson can get Bama this year also. I'll agree to disagree with you on LSU. I have a question mark on South Carolina (got to see them play this year). To when championships you have to be good and have a little luck. 2011 Bama azz shouldn't have been in that game. They didn't even win their division (luck). 2012 (slipped by Georgia and LSU {luck and good})

I read the article...spurrier would get out coached. I would love to see how clowney would do against that bama front tho.

I wonder how they arrived at that, because when Spurrier(Florida) and Saban(LSU) were on equal footing, Spurrier kicked his a-- up and down the field. lol

Excuse me, but Alabama beat Tebow one time and Tebow beat them one time without having Percy Harvin. Why would he shed a tear? He beat poor Bama so badly that they couldn't even muster enough energy to matchup with little ole Utah. lol. At least when Florida lost to Alabama, they actually decided to show up in their bowl game.

Alabama is beatable... but not by no Ole Miss! :lmao:

Texas A&M (with Johnny Goofball) could beat Alabama. Ohio State could probably beat Alabama. LSU could beat Alabama...hell, Auburn could sneak up and at least SCARE Alabama.

But Florida ain't beating nobody but Florida State :lmao:

Um.......

Florida beat the same Johnny Manziel team that went into Bryant-Denny and kicked the Tide's a--. Don't sleep on the Gators.

I'm sure you will see "us" in the SEC Championship Game . . . if you're watching tv, or buy a ticket. But Florida won't get close to Atlanta this year . . . not even insided 285.

You won't beat Georgia, and you sure as "L" ain't beating South Carolina. But for the record, I hope you do make it to the SEC CG, because there is no team on the planet - not Auburn, not LSU, not Tennessee, or Georgia - that I enjoy seeing Bama beat the crap out of more than Florida.

Deuce, they will catch Marta. :emlaugh: and if they get off at the wrong exit, they will be at Grady Memorial.

You playing, but if Saban doesn't stop being complacent about the no-huddle offense, his a-- may be sitting at home too. lol

Complacent?

After losing to Texas A&M last year, Nick Saban has probably never worked harder on the HUNH than he has this off-season. He's going to be out for blood this season. He asked the schedule-makers for a week off before the game too? You will probably never see a team more prepared for the HUNH when Alabama plays Texas A&M.

Heck, he spent so much time trying to get the NCAA to rule against the No-Huddle. I would hope he worked hard on the no-huddle this season after they failed to be prepared for it last season against Texas A&M when they clearly should have had enough footage to know how to stop it. I don't see how folks think Alabama is unbeatable. They lost to Texas A&M, and LSU pretty much had them beat as well. Those are 2 teams that should top the list. The fact that Florida did beat LSU and Texas A&M should prove that they could hang with Bama too since their defense was stronger than Alabama's. As long as Driskel doesn't play give-away with the ball, Florida could have hung with Bama for sure.

Didn't Meyer end up at Grady Memorial the last time he faced Saban. :emlaugh:

I think manziel caught teams off guard

Your comment was mute right there. How in the hell did a&m keep catching team off guard week, after week, after week? With all the espn hype, national news coverage, and w's they were stacking up you dare say they were catching teams off guard? That a&m team was extremely talented and well coached. If you don't believe me look at the nfl draft. That o-line is a beast. Think a&m is a fluke if you want to and they will catch you off guard again.

I know your quote was not directed at me, but allow me to comment.

A&M beat Bama fair and square. Period. No excuses. TA&M didn't catch Alabama by surprise, but they did catch Alabama at the absolute perfect time. And that was HUGE as far as the outcome was concerned. You may recall that Bama played A&M the week after Bama's heart-stopping, dramatic, last-minute win at LSU. Bama's players were clearly still on cloud nine, and were likely still somewhat celebrating their big win in Baton Rouge, when in comes Texas A&M with their high-paced, non-stop offense. And before you knew it, Bama was down 20-0 in the first half. Bama collected itself and recovered, but a late fumble doomed them. Even after that, Bama drove to the A&M five yard line before throwing an interception in the final seconds of the game that would have been the winning touchdown.

Again, no excuses. A&M won it fair and square. But this time, Bama won't be coming in on cloud nine. Hopefully, they will have dispatched Va Tech two weeks earlier, and had an extra week off to focus on Texas A&M. And for the record, I'm not one of those people who thinks that A&M or Manziel are flukes. I think they're the real deal, and will be very good again this year. But I also believe that they benefited GREATLY last year from their game with Bama being scheduled the week after the LSU game. I fully expect A&M to be ready for Bama on September 14th . . . and you better believe Bama will be ready for them.

Alabama was susceptible last year to a good passing team though a lot of folks that don't watch week in and week out simply don't know. LSU QB passed for over a 60% completion percentage last year. The following week, I knew TAMU was going to give them problems having looked at them several times before the Bama game. Also, the other team that Bama had problems with was Georgia who had a very good balanced attack. To beat Bama, you must have a balanced offense. You have got to stretch field to open up your offense. Unless Bama has solidified their pass defense against SEC strong teams, someone will beat them this year. I suspect it will be LSU or Georgia in the championship game. I don't think it will be TAMU though. Manziel seems to be possessed by stupidity and confusion and their defense will be a weakness. Lastly, Bama as most of you all know is the beneficiary of a very weak schedule (no Florida, Georgia or South Carolina) which IMHO is a damn disgrace.

Yall kill me with the schedule mess.

I seem to recall that for two years in a row, Georgia did not have to play Alabama, LSU or Arkansas (when Arkansas was Arkansas). Also, a year or so ago, nearly EVERY TEAM in the SEC had its off week the week before they played Bama.

Was that fair? Come on man.
