Former LSU, Southern FB player convicted in murder-for-hire

Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh!!!!

McKissick and the other dude ran roughshod over us that night. Girl I knew from Upward Bound went to UAPB and said we still cheated. I told her how the hell we gone cheat when y'all had like 300 rushing yards on us.

:D lmao! C'mon Journ... you know Southern was doing "stuff" back then lol. There's no telling what was going on under Pete's regime to lure those "star'd" athletes to Scottlandville lol.

The offices of Johnson and McKissic(sp). Like that tandem from sTu: Sieh and *******

That had to be the game that I watched on BET. I remember this RB running all over our defense, and UAPB's band playing the Big Payback everytime he did it.
It was that game Lol...that was their 1st song they cranked on SU LOL..after that 3 OT lose they suffered in Mumford..*classic* game

McKissic and Johnson.....that maybe the best 1-2 punch at RB since 2000. That was my soph year at JSU. My car broke down and I couldn't make the trip to Little Rock to see the game. i listened to it on the radio, and they were doing a number on us. LOL. There was still some good football being played in the SWAC at that time.

Dwight McKissick and Ron Johnson was the two runnning backs

"it feel reaal gooood to get a win"-Coach Hardman

"Ron Johnson heeee tough"-Coach Hardman

He got got clowned after that interview especially on the swacpage. I think the title of the thread was "Give rat boy some cheese" lol they called him Coach Bucky lol

I was at that game also.

Dude almost got cut by a chick in the class we took. I was taking ed courses with a bunch of athletes. I overslept the 9 o'clock and then got to the 10. They were telling me that Nemo was messing with this girl, the girl told him to leave her alone. He didn't and the girl pulled out a blade and tried to cut him....

Then there was him at Springest shooting a Super Soaker water gun at Katie Red (no pun intended)!...

@number1, you're right...that game was in 2000. We lost 30-19. I was in Lil' Rock and the game wasn't even as close as the score indicated.

Hey guys!

I too was at that game; I specifically remember because there were 3 gentlemen from Baton Rouge, all wearing SU gear and came down the steps (on the home side), talking loud and talking noise. They came and sat RIGHT BESIDE US and talked mess ALL NIGHT LONG!!! But we had a lot of fun, and one I got to know so well that he called me right after I left and talked to me all the way back to Baton Rouge!

That was the game that Terrance Levy (sp) played at QB almost during the entire game; Quincy Richard did play, but I don't think he started. And yes, Journalist, it was a very controversial game......but then again, 99% of our games with SU usually are!;):):)

1. How was the 2000 game controversial? Y'all had 300 rushing yards and won running away?
2. How in the hell UAPB didn't win the SWAC with Johnson & McKissic running the rock?

Sad to see Nemo turn out this way.... we were cool.... But we obviously didn't Run them streets together....

Yes, Dwight & Ron had excellent rushing yards, but I meant controversial in some of the calls made on both teams by the officials.

And if I'm not mistaken, when we (UAPB) came back to the SWAC in '97, we tied with SU in the Western Division, but all of a sudden we were in a "probationary" period, and were ineligible to be considered a contender. And I believe we did also tied again between '98 & 2000 (I could be wrong). So your guess is as good as mine about us not winning the Division or conference.

I remember that game.... I was in Jackson that weekend at the JSU and Texas SO game.... and remember watching it from my hotel room..... that was in 2000.

I can't believe you remember Bobby Jett, Jr! We used to call him "coast-to-coast".

I'm still sad about his death.
I didn't know Bobby Jr. died...! When did it happen? I knew his dad well. Club Vegas was his dad's club. Bobby Sr. Was one of the funniest men I've ever met.

It was a while ago. Dude got murdered. I've forgotten the circumstances but it was quite senseless.

Didnt know about his death. RIP

Yes, bigtyme, the name of Bobby Jett, Sr's club was called Club Vegas. If I can recall right, it was back in 2003 (I think) when Bobby Jett, Jr. was killed & I believe things originally went down at Club Vegas. I think Bobby Jett, Jr and this other young man named Johnson (NOT RON JOHNSON) got into some kind of altercation. Well, since it was Bobby Jett, Sr's club, he (senior) had Johnson escorted out, but I remember (from folks I know) hearing that TJ got really mad about how things went down. About a week later (maybe less), Bobby Jett, Jr was killed (by TJ) in a drive-by. It totally devastated his father; he never got over it. They were very close.

I still miss Bobby Jett, Jr.
