I agree. He was excited. Most folks in America could not talk well with a mic in front of them on National TV. Folks need to quit thinking it is an easy thing to do. Desmond Howard is a sharp cat. Met the dude and he is really smart. But it took him awhile to get decent on TV. He is much better than he was. Everybody ain't meant to be on TV speaking. Even some college professors would sound suspect on TV if they are not comfortable. Winston has done well on TV and folks know he is a smart kid. He just was overwhelmed last night from winning. I have heard worse.

Bowl games may or may not be fair match-ups. Duke prob would have beat Ohio State and Clemson prob would have beat TAMU. Again, the teams did well. i don't even think Tech was good this year and we played two SORRY FCS teams but we only loss to Ole Miss by a TD. ..and if our receiver had caught that bomb thrown to him, it might have been even more interesting.

Dude, Florida State only played Clemson. That was their one quality opponent for the entire season, granted Florida having their worst season in 34 years didn't help the SOS either. Adding Oklahoma State and Notre Dame just brings some type of credibility to their schedule. Anyone can see that playing Oklahoma State and Notre Dame in OOC games is a better test of strength than Idaho and Bethune-Cookman.

Auburn and Alabama have good announcers and act more excited after TD's and wins, especially Auburn's announcer.

On the local news it was said that Saban was supporting Auburn, but who know's how he really felt. Personally, I think he also was supporting Jim Bo.

Actually, I'm glad Auburn's QB didn't talk to much, because he definitely need some help. We listen to him all the time on the local news, since Auburn is only about 35-40 minutes away.
Go back and listen to some of his classics...Deckerhoff is pretty awesome(especially his Classic calls)...but is professional...he's also the voice of the Tampa Bay Bucs and is the PA voice in the EA Sports NCAA Football series
It's just not FSU football without Deckerhoff calling the game on the radio
