Finally They Are Getting Their Own Football Stadium

:wavey:

hey TP where's that proof?

Look like i caught u in a lie!

Can someone with business sense tell me why jsue doesn't try get funds from the private sector? How about trying corp sponsorship to get you a stadium..after all you all are the "mighty jsu". So some initiative for once and stop waiting on the med center to finally buy that property and HOPE the state builds you a stadium. Just imagine how much fast your stadium would get there if your administration approached the legislation with 1/2 of the money and said match this amount and give us our stadium.

naw thats too much like right. ah well (off soap box)

Why am i saying this to backwards mississippi folks who let louisiana college raise money to build their stadium before they could. :smh:

How about this: JSU is a research intensive university. We are raising 50 million dollars as we speak to help our university. You can go to our website on your own to see for yourself. How is SU's capital campaign going? :lmao: We raised 10 million dollars back in the 80's in 2-3 years. It took ya'll 20 years to raise money for that stadium and you STILL probably had to end up getting bonds from the state.

Juke, don't argue with TP. He hasn't been to Jackson in 6 years!

We ain't trying to get a stadium. We have bigger fish to fry while YOU and the white folks in MS pay for the Mafia Palace where we play for free. When the time comes for us to get a stadium, you are gonna want to tear down Mudford. It will be the greatest edifice in BCF!!!!!!!!!!

^^^
Actually, it's the opposite. JSU fans are fine with Memorial and our agreement. You all are the ones who want to make it into something it's not by trying to compare our palace to your piece of schitt!!!!!!

Slaves were just fine with Massa's agreement too...

Mississippi Burning send Help~~

Sounds like the class Sutrp flunked.:emlaugh:

I'm still trying to figure why your drunken arse is still on here posting. No one respect isht you say, you do nothing but lie, no one know who the fug you are... And you are a retard...

Personal attacks should be open season on your dumb arse since no one knows who the fug you are...

You are the first poster in the history of posting to cry about getting the last post before the thread was closed.. You are a fugging joke dude...

Ima see if we can get a bill passed stating anyone post as much retarded isht as you and if no one ever met em' it's will be open season on personal attacks.. It's shouldn't bother them no way, no one knows them... In your case, retards usually don't have feelings...
Ain't that right drunken monkey?

Hmmm..
"Mafia Palace" that's a nice name for a movie theater.. We have a movie theater down here called "The Palace"....

Good move JSU, yall are really taking care of the business...There is big money in Movie Theaters, fug a stadium...

I'm still trying to understand SU logic. UMC wants the land. So we are saying, if you want it, the state better pay us in return. Meanwhile, we are playing there rent free, a deal that even USC doesn't have. But SU logic says don't force the state to pay and let UMC just have the land for nothing in return. :retard:

SU has been calling USC stupid for years. They pay rent to play in the Coliseum when they could build a Mumford on campus.

:smh:

The things you say when you don't have a pot to piss in and a window to throw it out of...

this is sad...

Lies, lies, lies. The Coliseum is basically on USC's campus and if it wasn't they don't have the room to build a stadium.

But don't you agree they'd be better off with something like Mumford. At least it would be on their campus and they wouldn't be paying rent... USC is clearly smalltime. They should call southern for the blueprints to mumford so they could go big time. *snicker*

Do you know the history between JSU and Memorial Stadium? Do you know WHY we ever started playing there in the FIRST place? If you did, you would not make this comment.

TP,

I understand the root of this all... These guys love Jackson State. They are concerned with all things Jackson State.... I got that much...

But I am a little puzzled as to why they see no problem with Memphis, USC, Miami, Hawaii, UAB, USF, Tulane, UConn, Minnesota, UCLA (etc.) "stadiums" but they have one with JSU's... Maybe it's the same reason they see nothing wrong with the State of Louisiana straight PIMPIN' them (thanks LSU). *shrug*. I guess white IS right. :lmao:

Louisiana needs an Ayers Case ... BAD!

The gap is unbelievable. smh

TAMPA - When the University of South Florida played its inaugural season in 1997, former athletic director Paul Griffin said the school never seriously thought about building an on-campus stadium.

"The economics made little or no sense," said Griffin, now a senior associate AD at Georgia Tech. "We had a state-of-the-art stadium [Raymond James Stadium] that required no upfront money. It was an easy business decision."

That South Florida. They are so smalltime...They really need to call Southern because they know how it really should be done. :dizzy:

Im sorry i missed the part where jsu owns that land and deserves to get paid if UMC deciedes to purchase...

Yall are basically going on a WHAT IF they let us have some money or WHAT IF they build us a stadium after the eventual purchase of the land occurs. Unless yall have jsu's name on the deed to that land they (state & umc) dont owe yall ish!

Just an observation...

Mr. Tiger you have to excuse them. Southernites just can't seem to grasp the concept of state/private... hence their OWNING mumford.

You have missed a lot of parts. Like the state of Mississippi's OWN study about building JSU a $73 million to $156 million stadium if UMC gets the land. Like the fact that the state has funded the construction of every public college stadium in Mississippi. Like unless you are a private university, you own...get this.....NOTHING. The state of Louisiana could decide to close Southern down tomorrow because the school is funded with state money. You don't OWN Mumford. But if it makes you feel better keep thinking you do. :smh: So again, why should JSU raise funds for a stadium when the state of Mississippi's OWN study suggest building JSU a $73 million to $156 million stadium if UMC gets the land?

 just say you dont know...b/c your proving my point with this post. nothing says they HAVE to build one..which was my point. Hell alot of studies suggest alot of things that dont mean it will happen. Well keep ya fingers crossed... :smh:

Wow!!! No room to build a stadium. That's a pretty good excuse. But I wonder why that doesn't excuse JSU. I get it. White folk can say that. "We" can't.

But I am a little puzzled as to why they see no problem with Memphis, USC, Miami, Hawaii, UAB, USF, Tulane, UConn, Minnesota, UCLA (etc.) "stadiums" but they have one with JSU's...
And Miami no longer plays in the Orange Bowl, which was not far campus. Now, they gone play in Dolphin Stadium. Wayyyyyyyyyyyy no the other side of Miami. If you ever been to Miami, Dolphin Stadium is one of the first things you see as you hit the city limits. U. of Miami is one of the last things you see as you leave the city. The Hurricanes gotta be the dumbest bunch of losers of all time. Even USC ain't that dumb.

They need them blueprints, too. Much better to have a Mudford than play in quality facilities.
