And people wonder why the Bayou Classic will never move its date? Why lose money going to a playoff game, when you get National TV and draw more than 50,000 fans?

Get the hell outta here. Like moving the BC will make the attendance go down. Black folks will call in work and say they just died if they think the BC would be good. And the only ones watching this game on TV IS us.

Well, at least we're attempting to get our own instead of playing in one in a totally different city, neighborhood and community.
You guys are making New Orleans millions upon millions. Heck, I'd like you too if you were putting that much money in my pocket.:emlaugh:

Your time would be better spent doing what Al Sharpton did when he was a child (get a bunch of dolls, sit them on some old chairs and preach a sermon). :lol: :emlaugh:

Heck Lil Willie collecting tickets at the gate still gonna be taking money by letting folks in for free but it don't matter because y'all have as much of a chance at getting a dome as your football team has of making the SCG THIS season.

There is more to a campus than a football stadium. Seriously though, rivalries tend to die in the long run when it starts to become seemingly lopsided. Alcorn vs. JSU were VERY close to having our rivalry stagnant had nothing been done to re-energize it. Now JSU folks loving come to Lorman because they are 2-0 in Spinks while we are 1-0 in Memorial. The same could work for GSU and SU.

Dude are you joking? We don't want the Bayou Classic to be anything like Alcorn vs jsu. That's like going from a 2014 Rolls Royce to a 1992 Mazda station wagon. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Who scared tho? Wasn't the SWAC Championship game created because JSU kept embarrassing the SWAC in the Playoffs ? The Bayou Classic has been moved a couple of times for Grambling to participate in the playoffs, and Eddie Robinson decided to keep it on thanksgiving due to a couple of questionable calls he received in the playoffs and always playing in the road even with a higher ranked team!
