Damn, that is why his ass was limping. Favre's ankle looks like it is about to have a baby!:lol::scared:
 
I figured his ankle was messed up real bad. I told someone while watching the game that I doubt he could have ran those yards. Even in the interview after the game he said..he was unsure if he woulda made those yards.

But dammmmmmmn that boy look like he got frost bite. :lol:

I don't know what games you guys have been watching, I think more wishful thinking then anything, because Peyton has been rough up all season, that's just something somebody whose team is sitting at home made up so they can feeling better.

That's not true Blue. Peyton had a league low of 10 sacks all year and some of them he just fell down. I was like damn.......that's all the sacks he took.

The only way the Saints will get to hit Peyton is he don't see it coming. He just don't absorb hits. Like the Saints DC said, Peyton is too smart for all that. Sharper has echoed that sentiment. They are going to try. But all I will say, they better get to him before that ball leaves his hand or you will see flags all day. You can see the media and the NFL already setting up that scenario. Mark Schlereth and Tom Jackson were on ESPN predicting at least 2 late hit flags and the same is being said on the NFL network. Not that I agree with them doing it. But that after the fact fine for McCray by the NFL was a warning message going into this SB. I thought the NFL allowed the media to get to involved in that and fined McCray because of it. Aint no way the refs allow Peyton to take that kind of Favre beating. Plus I think you might see Indy's OL do some retaliation back if it gets ugly. This is going to be interesting. If Peyton takes some late hits. Look for Jeff Saturday and them cats to start chop blocking. Hopefully this don't become a tick for tack game.

I got my popcorn ready. Should be fun to watch how both teams deal with this.
 
Maybe it's just me... but it seem as it those who want to see the Colts win are more scared than anything.....

Oh well. Hope my home team bring home the Championship...

JR I'm not saying sack, Peyton has been hurried up and hit after release alot this year, teams just haven't been able to finish the job because their offense didn't give them any help.

I was hoping to post the stats on it because the NFL does record those now but for some reason their not on the NFL stat page.

Yeah I understand. I hope the Saints do make the game interesting since the Media has made Peyton the best ever to play. I think most really miss the real battle will be the Saints offense vs the Colts defense. Also who's running game shows up. The Saints should actually try to run first and pass second. The best way to beat Peyton or Brees is to keep their offenses off the field.

I just want to see a good game. My team is at home chilling looking at their 6 Super Bowl trophies. So I am kind of neutral in this game. Alot of talk on this board has had me rolling though. Reminds me of when I was in the band at SU and all the New Orleans cats would be arguing with folks about the Saints. My LB from St. Aug called me last night. He is huge Saints fan and I know he is talking isht to any and everybody. LOL.

Where is Blade? I need to get him going. :D

I agree 100% and I love the fact that the media is basically not giving the Saints a chance against Payton even though the stats show the Saints are the ones who actually have the edge.

LOL. You know I am just instigating stuff Juke. I like it when you and Blade go at it. It took me back to the old days of being in the band room and folks would be going back and forth about their teams. That used to be fun. Good nature ribbing as we called it. Blade will be fine. The Texans are on the rise.

On the real, I am kind of tired of hearing about Peyton this week. I like both Manning brothers and ole Archie. But this is almost getting comical. They even had the nerve to compare him to my all time favorite Qb Joe Montana. I was like>:retard: Joe has 4 rings......2 before Rice and Taylor and 2 after they arrived. Beat HOF Qbs in the SB head to head in Marino and Elway. 11 TDs and NO INTS in those SB appearances. Best Big Game QB of all time. So I am kind of hoping the Saints win to shut the media up. Then I think about that brother Coach. He needs to win this game to keep the fans off him for that whole rest the players deal. He is not getting any respect. Man I love Peyton cause he is hometown.... Uptown matter of fact... We used to call them "Uptown Mannings" back when I was in school... But all this talk like he is the best ever.... I hate how the media completely forgot about Joe Montana..... That to me is CLEARLY the greatest QB of all time... San Fran has 5 rings.. Joe has the first 4 and his backup Steve has the 5th... Of course Steve have rings as Joe's back up...

Peyton is damn good..... But you really can't put him in this league of his own .. I think he is slightly better than Drew.. but this game can put Drew over Peyton... and it still don't make none of them better than Joe..
Just like in basketball the media is still looking for that next MJ... I wish the media would let these players do their thing then compare at the end of their runs...

When I was in the band.. it was always us New Orleans folk going back and forth with the Atlanta falcon fans.....lol Atlanta had a lil something back then when I was in school.... they made it to the superbowl my last year in the band, so you know we had to hear it....lol

Not to mention youu know we do that one saints game a year... and I think out the 4 years I marched the Saints only won one of them games....lol

Marino was and is my favorite QB, and I just feel bad for that man. Something always kept him from getting his .....at least Elway ended up pulling it off.

Bruh...the only reason Ive been keeping most of that going, is because I know N.O. cats thrive off the arguement. Most seem to know that Im just pulling strings (except for Jag89 that's trying to get me to derive how and why the NFL calculates their stats...:retard: )

Since I have no dog in the SB...it's fun for me, cuz it reminds me of SU. I remember we (HTown folks) got into it with some N.O. CB's, cuz they thought they were the best dancers in the band...:lol: Only a N.O. nigg would argue about that...:lol:
