Believe me when I tell you that I caught an awful lot of grief for that from my extended family ... especially when I chose another HBCU in the State of Mississippi ["... of all the places on earth ...."].

Use whatever you like. I took the education that I earned and opportunities that I received at JSU to the top of the food chain. You will merely reinforce the standard of excellence that was established and has been maintained there. Some of my colleagues who are alumns of Brown, Dartmouth, and Penn have sent their kids to JSU after my enlightening them.
