FAMU vs UNC 2022 Wait FAMU You not Playing What???!!! Ugh

This is painful to read from one of BCF historical powers especially occurring at the midnight hour. SWAC needs to establish task force to figure out these compliance issues as a whole. I do not recall a single incident on any scale at PWI FCS schools.

SWAC is pioneering national TV coverage deals with networks, but basic fundamental of compliance is in chaos. I remember FAM was voted the national college of the year in 1997 (not HBCU but all levels) by Princeton Review and matriculated a large number of National Merit Scholars. Gotta leverage that intellectual prowess into athletics.

Honestly, if our programs were staffed correctly, we’d be a lot more successful across the board

I remember asking, How many of our schools have a Compliance department/officers?

I blame this mostly on the players. Isaiah Land should have been on top of his class work.

Correct. Dr. Humphries turned FAMU into a powerhouse. But, being a HBCU. You have a ceiling and not a 'limitless sky' like a PWI.

Nope.

Saw this first hand with how Carpenter (men) and Thigpen (women) played during the fall in basketball but were deemed ineligible after the PV game. Were pulled off the bus and sent back to Valley. Carpenter didn't play for the rest of the season and ended up hitting the portal while Thigpen's career ended (she used the extra COVID year to come back and graduate)

That's on compliance and the sorry former assistant AD whose job was compliance. They are supposed to stay on this

Who TF airplane is that? 😳 Never heard of that airlines. Where they fly out of? Is that a twin engine plane? Do they care livestock too?
Allegiant Air is an up and coming airlines company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a national carrier as it flies to destinations all over the country. It recently purchased the naming rights to the NFL Las Vegas Raiders home field, Allegiant Stadium.

AAMU better check them grades too! Way too many transfers that came late.

I understand. But, we are talking about twenty players. If my eligibility was flaky or, in-question. I am definitely staying on coach and the school.

Isaiah Land should have definitely stayed on top of his eligibility with the NFL in his future.

We can say this, but do the players or "us as fans" really even know what the current NCAA eligibility rules are... I can't say that I know.

And I am sure that there are loopholes (used by the other PWI's) to meeting the current eligibility rules and certain forms that could have been submitted earlier in the process to buy time while clearing up any issues...

The game will easily look like a HS varsity playing 7th grade C team. smh

For most of fcs, it is a severe drop off after 1st team, except those who are truly 2-deep. 👀
Yep…we’ve still got playmakers playing tonight, but we lost hella depth on the O-line. 10 O-linemen are out apparently.

This happened before the first game last year as well. 15 players were ruled ineligible for the OBC last season. Much like that situation, some of these guys can’t suit up return until the Alabama A&M game as of now.

Well fam said they were loaded and had depth. It shouldn't affect them at all based on what the fans been saying.

@Rattler73 get yo arse in here. For a person that post dumb famu threads ALL through the off-season, you sure do go missing when shyt goes wrong 😆 🤣 😂 😹

He will just move some DLs over to the offensive side. We did the same last season after suffering several injuries and departures upfront.
