Falcons might urge Vick to take paid leave

There could be more charges coming according to reports. The gov't plans to file a superceding indictment which the legal pundits say is an indictment with more charges against Vick.

Like I stated before when you all were comparing the Vick case to the Jamaal Lewis case, the reason why the FBI win a lot of cases is due to either audio, video, or under cover agents evidence. Don't let that 95% FBI conviction rate think that Vick has no chance. Look how long they been pursuing Barry.

In the Vick case the only thing they seem to have is a couple witnesses. There are so many "Unknown Witnesses" in the indictment it's funny.

This 95% conviction rate is not true. In the indictment they simply have 4 cooperating witnesses which cannot provide exact dates only time frames. The medis has told blacks for so long that they are thugs that anything negative about a black man you people are sold. The plantation surely did some work on black folks.
 
Just had a conversation with some people from Vick's neighborhood. I was told that Vick never is the type of guy that would do something like this. I've notice a lot of people, especially our own, are quick to calling the brother out of his name. :shame:

Hey, I never thought Vick was capable of these alleged crimes either. But it goes to show you that we really don't know the true nature of people we admire when we are not around them 24/7. I hope we just find out the truth. Gulity or not.

Honestly, I don't think ANY NFL starting QB ? especially one in demand like "Ookie" ? would have the time or energy to pull the isht off like alleged in it. I think Vick will get cleared, and his name was just thrown in here because some fed prosecutor wants to make a name for himself down the line for a federal judge position when the next administration rolls around. Tough break, but that's how it goes.

Unlike other federal cases where the feds have a paper trail, I doubt there's a real paper trail in this case. Mike will be free, and he will not be granting any more interviews like talkin' bout.

And Kendrick, you're dead on about the true nature of people we admire 24/7. Look at the Chris Benoit case?great example of that.

A lot of times your "people" will be most honest about what they KNOW you are capable of doing. I know fa doggone sho my folks are honest about each other...unless they were doing something illegal together.

I dont think your people would come out and say to the media "Mike was in dogg fighting for the longest while. He's killed hundreds of doggs".
No matter how wrong my folks were, I wouldnt tell other folks how bad he was.

This is just what I was telling my wife this morning. With the state and feds, they do extensive research, surveillances, and all other things when they come after people. Now, this started out as a "drug" case. I'm sure that they were surveilling the house for a while to see who was coming in and out of the house. To see where or not drug deals or anything drug-related could have possible been going on. I'm sure that they knew that this was one of Vick's homes when they kicked in the door with their "drug" search warrant. Now tell me, why wouldnt they have documentation of people bringing dogs in and out of that house for dog fighting? Why didnt they have any knowledge of "dog fighting" before kicking in the door with a "drug" warrant if they have all this evidence against Vick? Like Keith Sweat said, "Something just not right" with this.

Yeah...it would be more like "no comment". But I ain't going to lie and say "he would never do this" if I know he does.

Sonny you seem to love to condemn people before you get all the facts. In your mind the dude is a convict already when actually other than the Ron Mexico incident he's been clean (Don't bring up the water bottle incident, the substance was NOT weed). Let's wait and see how everything plays out before we pass judgement on this guy.

You know how many folks do schit that their own family didnt know.
I just found out that one of my cousins is Gay and goes to GAY functions all over the US and the world.

I never would have peg him to be gay, but that goes to show you how much I knew my cousin.

I aint condomn him Frat. I dont think Ron is a bad brother. I just think he is goofy as fugg for getting himself in this mess. Even if he didnt know what was going on in a house with his name on it, he knew WHO was in the house.
This stuff didnt even start off with dogg fighting, this was a drug investigation that turned into a media GOLD Mine. They couldnt put the drugs on Vick so they going for the dogs.

Team, he had like 66 dogs there, tons of dogg food, dog fighting equipment, cages, and pens for fighting. Are you saying dog fighting didnt go on, or it did go on and Vick didnt know about it. If he didnt do it why aint none of his cousins or friends stepping up saying "I did it, not VICK"??????

His cousin did say on National T.V. that Vick didn't do it, it was him. I'm pretty sure that he knew Dog fighting was going on there but was he deeply involved we don't know. All we have to go on are some guys that say Vick was there. Until I see a picture or video footage the man is innocent.


If Vick was involved then I think he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law even though I love to watch him play the game.

i think people skip all over these type of statements, i know i've said the same thing. they confuse the fact that we don't buy allegations until there is a conviction, with we think the man is innocent and should get off if he did it. what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

Exactly. Innocent until proven guilty is slowly disappearing. The problem is people act like their lives are squeaky clean, nobody is perfect. The media is at fault too because the way they present the situation is a big influence as well.
