Every X-Man Ever

Storm has and forever will be my favorite one. I really think the movies should have displayed her powers more. She finally had more than 2 lines in Last Stand, and they showed a good power set in Days of Future Past. Can't wait to see how the chick off of Drumline 2 does at playing her in the next set of movies.

In the comic books and the cartoon, Storm was my favorite too! I also liked Gambit, Rogue, and Mystique. I wish they'd go into the story of Storm and Mystique (who is Nightcrawler's mother); they both have very interesting backgrounds.

First Class and Days of Future Past really pushed Mystique up to equal level with Professor X and Magneto, so she might get that attention real soon. It would be interesting to see Storm get a solo movie, but they might just tie her story into the Gambit movie since she did spend time with him at some point in the comics.

If they could've swung it, they would've had Storm in the Black Panther movie due to their relationship and subsequent marriage/divorce

Funny thing is: Marvel initially wanted Destiny to be Nightcrawler's mother while Mystique be the father (since she's a shapeshifter), but the Comics Code and the editors nipped that in the bud fast.

Would've been so much wrong with that. Lol

It was Marvel in the 70s...God knows what they were doing..

They also rejected a Wolverine origin at the time that would've had Logan be an actually mutated Wolverine created by the High Evolutionary

That's right, Storm & the Black Panther married! I almost forgot about that! But I could have sworn that Storm also had a child (a son) that she had to abandon back in Africa......maybe I'm thinking of another character.

Storm as of the moment doesn't have children. In the cartoon she was the midwife for a kid that the Shadow King tried to possess.

However, in the comics the Watcher told her and T'Challa that their children will be of great importance in the future.

Thanks Journalist. I remember the Watcher telling her that, but for some reason in my mind, I thought it was a prophesy told either about Storm or to Storm herself, which is why I thought that's the reason why she had to abandon her son (to protect him). I don't know where I came up with that!:oops:

Shame that the only prominent black couple in the major comics had to get divorced. smh

In one of the current issues it was shown in an alternate timeline that Storm and Black Panther had a daughter named Kymera that came back to help the present X-Men fight the future Brotherhood. I'm guessing in that timeline those 2 never divorced or they hooked up again at some point.

My bad...Storm and Panther didn't get divorced....it was after Civil War and a Phoenix-possessed Namor destoryed Wakanda with a tsunami when Panther told Storm he had their marriage annulled. By this time, T'Challa's sister Shuri took over as the Panther while T'Challa recovered from an attack by Doctor Doom. He had temporarily lost his powers and all that before Namor destroyed Wakanda.

During this day and age, it may actually fly since everybody is changing in the Marvel Universe.

True...but having Jane Foster as Thor's avatar or placing the mantle of Captain America onto Sam Wilson is one thing ... a whole mutant bisexual, tranny conception is a little bit more than Marvel wanted then ... and now...

Hell Marvel caught hell with Thor and Cap.

They made Ice-Man gay. Crazy story because it was the past version of Ice-Man that was brought to the present that declared he was gay, but the current/future version of Ice Man isn't gay. Also one of Wolverine's sons in an alternate reality is bisexual. So I wouldn't put it past them to do something like that.

Yeah Number, Daken (Wolverine's son) is a piece of work. He emits pheromones that attract people, and he uses it to manipulate folk regardless of gender. For him, it's a means to an end.

So his sexuality is pretty much a means to an end ... an end that usually ends with killing somebody and/or gaining some secrets to ultimately piss off/try to kill his pops Wolverine.

I read that the relationship between Daken and X-23 is somewhat like Logan and Sabertooths with Daken being Sabertooth and X-23 as Wolverine.
