We got beat. Yes we lost. Yes it hurt. It hurts like hell.

BUT !!!!!!!!!!!

There is no question that if McNeese is the #1 team in 1-AA, then we are #1.5.

If you were there, you know that we were clearly the best team on the field as far as talent at the skill positions and speed on the corners. If not for a questionable decision here and there by our coaching staff and several crucial drops, we would be the toast of I-AA football today.

I don't want to sound like that "Die Hard" fan who can't accept losing and always makes excuses. That's why I say, "You had to be there" If you were there you'd understand and agree.

The rest of the SWAC does not have a chance. Eugene is incredible. Just like last season, he has shown remarkable improvement from game to game. The big surprise is our defensive line. WE are awesome up front.

SWAC..... BEWARE. I don't think one team. ESPECIALLY SU, will come within 10 points of us the rest of the season.

I was listening to the game on the internet and pulling for the Tigers will hard, why?

So when we kick that butt in November, I wanted everybody to remember that GSU beat McNeese. But, none-the-less, you couldn't pull it out, fought hard and came up a little short. Jus like you will in the BC.

If you'd have watched the game or listened to it on the net, you'd know that in excess of 100 yards of his came on 3 carries. 60 of which came at the end of the game after the outcome was determined. WHEN IT COUNTED, we were there. WHERE WAS SOUTHERN. Oh yeah ya'll were probably studying film to get ready for Lincoln or Allen or the local high school. Whoever's next on your soft schedule.
 
DonTiger, I totally agree with ya. You had to be there to see it. Those long runs were the result of missing tackels which contributed to that 215 yds rushing.

Fisrt of all, if you would have stop them on that drive there was still time left for one last drive for gram, secondly we know about ya'll giving up long runs you do it every year with us, so what's your point?

No we did not stop them on that critical 3rd down to put together 1 last drive, I will give you that. But as far as giving it up to SU every year, hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Well you want have anybody outside the conf. to help you this year, you gotta earn it on your own, they're all gonna be healthy and you know what means.

As for your three swac titles in a row, i tried to tell you but like most info it gets deleted, but i'll try again and if this one doesn't make it, i'll e-mail ya.


3 BIG SWAC CHAMPIONSHIPS like 97,98,& 99 right?The only thing missing for you to do is to be named the team of the decade and win the James Franks award for best athletic program. But to do the latter you got to be good at more than football,so that's probably out. :eek2:
