Eva Longoria Parker Files for Divorce

Dude, even through ALL that, a woman can STILL catch you and bypass all that.

And put it in the house and some place she doesn't look? :xeye:   There is NO place a woman doesn't look when it comes to her house. Every nook and hole is noticed and checked. And wouldn't try hiding it in the car either. We check there, too. Better keep that phone at work.

That is why men don't know how to cheat properly;Better keep that phone at work:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I think folks don't realize that there is a difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. Marry your friend, not someone you just love. Love will come and go, but a true friendship last for ever. I feel sorry for a man or woman who never experiences a true friendship that grows into love. I can grow to love you each and every moment of my life, but I can never grow to like you and your funky ways. It will get old very fast. Real fast..........

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See it all the time.

A good husband married to a shitty woman. A good wife married to a shitty man. Or just two people who have no business being married to anybody. Or two mediocre people who are just tolerating each other.

All of this lovey dovey, head-in-the-clouds stuff Cee is talking about is rare and mere fantasy for most people. Some folks just settle for whatever they can get.

Who wouldn't want to be with their "soul-mate" and all of that jazz? The problem is good husband and good wife couples are rare and the chances of finding that are very slim.

I see...

Yu have a god point, but what you ponited out is chices. Bad choices. Not marriage. Those folks you ponited out know of those problems before they got married. Folks know who they are marrying. They just run the cheek until they can't take it anymore. That is why I said it is a difference between marrying your friend and the marrying someone you love.

I see it the opposite way,

If I love you, I can compromise, put up with some of the crap
Etc etc

But its a lot of chicks I might like, but don’t love and I can like them
Forever and it may never turn into love.

I agree 10,0000,000%

I don't know why rich men cheat with women in their own country; that is suicide at best. I don't condone cheating, but at least have some street sense when playing the field.

I just came back from the Dominican Republic, and the first thing my wife asked me was "did you cheat"? I knew that question was coming before I departed for the DR, so I was prepared. Did I go down there to cheat? No, but I got something better out of the trip and it has my wife pizzed. My wife told me she aint neva doing that schit. This is the honest truth; most foreign women are a gold mine for American men. I experienced and witnessed the daily routine of good Dominican women with Christian values. None of them spoke English, and I only had a working knowledge of the Spanish language. I had no idea that men could be pampered the way that I was pampered, and it had nothing to do with the fact that I was American...it was routine. Not only did the women work full time jobs, and attend college, but they came home to cook(3 meals), set the table, and clean the home daily. While all of this was going on, they always made sure my cup was full of "Presidente" beer and whatever my heart desired. After every meal, I made an attempt to take my plate to the kitchen, but the girls immediately rushed over and begged me to leave the plate on the table for them to take to the kitchen. The food was off the chain. I offered to help wash dishes and their response was "Que Nunca"(Never That). I d@mn near got emotional and made an azz of myself. I had to step outside and catch some air because it was all too much for me. I asked the father if this was a front, and he assured me that it was not a front. I wish I could go into detail on other things, but this schit is too emotional for me to get into. All I can say is that I met foreign women who are beautiful, intelligent, domesticated, and "committed" to pleasing their man...without attitude. In no way did I ever view them as being subservient, but I viewed them as well trained and educated women who strive to be the complete package in a home and relationship.

I think the article below might better explain why foreign women make great wives.

Reasons why so many American men marry foreign women

I never thought much about being involved with a foreign-born women until now. For most of my life I never understood the attraction some American men had towards foreign-born women and some nationalities in particular. That was then. This is now.

Now I look at all this differently. I was married for 26 years to a woman you could call a small town girl. Even though we're divorced I would tell you to this day that she's a good person with good values. She's smart, intelligent, etc. and had a career. She never let her career get ahead of our relationship the way so many American women do today. She lost her job for a couple of reasons, the biggest reason was she forgot how to be my lover. We became roommates who shared a bed and bank account but the romance was long gone. http://www.helium.com/items/1455187-american-men-foreign-born-women

Cee, the woman I loved the most was probably the best friend I ever had. To this day, we've probably done more for each other than anyone else in our lives. But, she's rotten to the core. Marrying her would have been one of the worse mistakes I ever made.

Royal Blue if you're down with F. D I can guess how you feel about this subject.

yep, you can fall in love with some bullsh@t sometimes.

Seriously marriage is the best thing that can ever happen to two people who are meant to be as one. There is no greater feeling than loving someone that is yours. Someone who is there for you when things are bad as well as good. Someone that knows your heart and can tell what you are thinking if they are siting on the other side of the room without even asking you. People fail when they put guards up. Ain't nothing wrong with being skeptical, but know that the devil uses that for his personal goal. Anything God join together is good if God joins it together. Love can make you do wrong, but it can make you do right also. There is no greater joy than holding, kissing and just being next to a person that is your soul mate. Marriage is meant to be one, those who come in trying to live as two will fail. Those who love as one will make it. Bottom line is marry someone who allows you to be you, and you allow them to be them. Love them for their faults and they will love you for your faults. That is a true marriage.

Checkmate, and a lot of these aspects can be applied to basic friendships. I'm still playing the waiting game and hope that God sends "Her" and that we cross paths and begin the foundation of friendship.

I make a distinction between today's marriages and the marriages of my parent's generation.

To answer your question, my parents have been married for 45 years.

It's a good thing that your parents have been married for that long. Congrats to them. However for you to make a blanket statement that only stupid people get married is even more stupid on your part.

You are so wrong, my friend. I may have been exaggerating a tad, but, in today's world, the risks outweigh the rewards. That can be quantified. I don't know if you are familiar with the Risk/Reward tradeoff, but to take on risks that exceed the potential reward is not a wise decision.

Sure, it's possible to take the risk and win, but most people lose. Just like playing the lottery. Is it any wonder that mostly poor and ignorant people play the lottery? No. That's to be expected. Then, it follows that only ... get married.

Especially, when it comes to athletes, entertainers and so forth. I'll bet Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods agree with me.

Spurs' Parker admits to 'sexting'

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker admits he had a "sexting relationship" with the wife of former teammate Brent Barry, but denies ever having a physical affair with her, TMZ.com reported Thursday.

"Desperate Housewives" actress Eva Longoria filed for divorce Wednesday from Parker in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences."

However, sources connected to Parker tell TMZ that Parker was planning to file divorce papers in San Antonio, but Longoria "talked him out of it because she wanted to file in Los Angeles
