ESPN2 Top Five HBCU Marching Bands

This ranking was seen on the Jackson St. vs Hampton football game that was aired Sunday, August 31 on ESPN2. It gave the names of the top five HBCU Marching Bands in the nation. It was set in this particular order:

1. Texas Southern
2. Jackson State
3. Southern U.
4. Norfolk State
5. Florida A&M

Pretty interesting line-up for ESPN to give. Voice your comments about the National Rankings. Congrats to all the bands and good luck for the upcoming season.

I think 'Marching 100' is not such a special name, so for names i'll say:

1 Human Jukebox
2 Sounds of Dynamite
3 Ocean of Soul
4 Sonic boom of the south(and the only reason ya'll are so low is because 'the south' waters it down IMO)
5. Aristocrat of bands

:tup: Except the Ocean is my number one choice for obvious reasons. Oh I'll add M4 as well.

That's Old School. Dr. Carney had his hand in changing it to the Showband of the South but Lemon Head still says "Freeway of Funk" during the fast march to the dance routines though
 
I can't see how you have a list of the top 5 HBCU bands and not include Bethune Cookman's band.
