I picked New Mexico to beat Villanova in a 12-5 upset. But 'Bama had to screw up my bracket. That will teach me.

EB, man you knew better than that !!! Any SEC school that is a 5 seed gets a first round exit. Remember Manhattan and Florida (sorry JST :D) ???

I'm having server problems with ESPN, so I don't know how my Luchadores are doing.....

Man.....I started to pick Ala to lose as my 12 - 5 upset special. A 12 always beats a five on the opening day. Should have went with my hunch.

Add to that, UCincy looks like they finally decided to play decently. I picked them to lose in the first round.

Actually, I screwed up with Tech. I intended to edit my bracket, cause I think they'll go further than what I have them. Right now, I have them losing to Louisville in the 2nd round.


I knew Iowa was sorry, but I thought they could at least beat sorry Cincy. :mad:

I see now that I'm gon have to make one of my lengendary come backs in the next couple of weeks.

LOL! I picked Iowa too, they faded in the Big 10, but played decent out of conference. I am shocked at Cincy score.

Now, I really like the Jackets chances in the Albuquerque bracket. Louisville is only 7 deep, and with the altitude in New Mexico this favors Tech (and we go 11 deep). Tech should have swept Wake (blew a double digit lead at their place).
 
When guys like Hobby, Stewart, Moreland, and Whitney coached in the SWAC and players like the Greens, Smith, and Sykes (?) played, things like the extra pass and the press were common in the SWAC. Oh, I sure liked the way they played basketball in the SWAC then.

Oh, we should have known. No, wait, we did know. We did know the Southeastern Conference was poor this year. We said it time after time after time through the course of the season.

When it was time for NCAA tournament teams to be selected and seeded, though, the SEC was back with five bids ? and four of those teams seeded to win first-round games.

Now, I said some nice things about the selection committee's work in constructing this bracket. And I still believe that, overall, the committee members got the right teams in the field and put most of them where they belonged. However, they should have seen through the obvious illusion created when the SEC's more successful teams began separating from the lesser teams in their league.

Now, Wake Forest wants to lose. I had a bad feeling about that game, too. I had them in the Final Four. This is going to be an interesting tournament.
 
Well, I know i didn't make it into this bracket on time, but right now i'm at 310 pts total. Syracuse, Wake Forest and Kansas definitely messed up my bracket. I was real pissed when Alabama lost but then when that same team that beat them beat BC I was like :(
 
My bracket is so JACKED up.

I had Uconn winning it all!!!

That's 15 bucks gone for the month. I could have went to the casino with that money.
