Seriously at this point I'm like let these functional illiterates of today experience the Ronald Reagan and Bush 1 after effects. People today live in La La land. The problem is Trump is an idiot he will do anything to save his azz. He's not the problem. It's the Mike Johnson's and the Mitchell McConnell replacement that's going to hurt these functional illiterates.

Eddie was around at that time. He had a tv show when Bush 1 was in office.

Do you all really think people like Lawrence Taylor, 50 cent and Eddie Griffin vote? They are telling everyone pretty loudly how little they value voting.

The issue is they are still black folks feeding that narrative black folks are supporting Trump.

While BlackPac says otherwise that support for Biden by blacks have increased.

Of those 3 50 Cent has more to lose under Trump.

Does it matter? Who, that votes, is going to cast their vote off of what any of them say or any other professional white azz kisser?

What is so new about now? Since the time our ancestors were ripped from mother Africa, narratives that work against our interest have been deployed. I think black folks that vote can see beyond the bull crap.

My question is why are there so many media outlets that like to report on the political views of black celebrities and athletes, as if they are some type of reflection on the overall black population voting patters or acting like those folks has some type influence on who a large number of black people are going to vote for? This happens with both democrats and republicans backed media outlets and even some black owned and operated media outlets.

To me it seems the media is using the same logic as a confederate monument supporter tried to used at a town meeting, trying to justify the confederacy to black people. They found one person that supported the confederacy in the area and that is somehow suppose to show that the confederacy was not anti-black. Keep in mind he ignored black people being enslaved and the numerous writings of the black experience in Edenton, NC.

This is why I am done with black functional illiterates. This is happening all across the country. Red states taking credit for Biden bills. Infrastructure is going on all across America better than it has in the last 50 years providing jobs. The dumb uneducated refuse to get a skill and get ahead in life. They would rather sit around smoking weed and on social media thinking they are going to get a stimulus check or scam another PPP loan. The truth of the matter is the only folks struggling in this economy are folks with no skills, trades or education and the fools who love luxury name brand items like reality TV stars. Republicans vote against every bill to improve the country and then take credit for it.

We are the only people who allow celebrities to be our political spokespeople... the shit is terrible. Malcolm X warned us decades ago about this
I would not say it is our people that is the problem, but rather politicians and government leaders who are more willing to select black celebrities to talk to rather than professional black subject experts. Take the James Brown situation during former President Nixon election campaign, as James Brown took a meeting with Nixon and then endorse him after the meeting. James Brown went into the meeting truly wanting to help his people, but Nixon played him. James Brown reflecting on the experiences years later said it was mistake to take that meeting and endorsing Nixon.

Ice Cube is in the same situation now, as it seems he wants to help his people, but rather doing anything of substance he is just being played by politicians and media outlets. I think some black celebrities need to realize they don't have the skill set to help their people when it comes to dealing with politicians and government officials. Just talking to black subject matter experts is not going to make them smart enough to be effective with dealing with politicians and government officials.

I will have to disagree with you about that the only people are struggling is those with no skills, trades, or education. Some things are beyond peoples control. I have medical condition, diagnosed when i was teenage and I am 41 years old now, and my insurance company refuse to pay for the medical treatment set forth by my specialist, but one of my co workers, who is white, has the same condition and gets his treatment covered by the insurance company. Charged $180 for blood work recently and I will never forget that my insurance company wanted to kick me out of the hospital a day after almost bleeding out during emergency surgeries when i was teenage.

Why I don't get the full medical treatment outline by my doctor, he was able to get me into two programs that at least covers treatment every other month and I had to sign over my medical history to a medical company to be analyze. My medical treatments cost over $8,000 per injection and I should be getting it every month, so if you do the math on that and you can see most people would have a hard time covering that expense along with managing everyday expenses.

I have lucked out over the years that I had some doctors that was willing to go the extra mile for me and having family members help out with my medical expenses. The reality is that is that people can do all the right things by being a good person, educating themselves, learning useful skills, etc and still run into issues in life that is beyond their control.
