Valley nabbed Rembert out of the transfer portal last December. Wade said he has made a conceited effort to nabbed D2 players over FBS players because they seem to work out better (Reed is heading to the Legacy Bowl after playing D2 in 2023)

Chennis Berry's D2 kids have done well. If I'm not mistaken, I heard a play-by-play commentator say eight players starting on SCSU's defense are transfers from Benedict.
 



I think the thing with the majority of the D2 young men is that they had in game playing time or where starters on the D2 level. With the drop downs from FBS they might have minimum game playing time and only practice film for the most part.
