I support Barrack Obama as President of the United States.
I have done some long hard thinking and he has done something that made me just change my thought process on him. As you know I work out a lot. Well many times I got to the Washington Sports Club location at Capital Hill. Well, about a 3 weeks ago he was there.
Well, unlike everyone else who was trying to ignore him and treat him normally, I walked up to him and said, "Mr. Obama thank you." He said, "Why." I stated, "Just for being real and not attempting to sugar coat or domestic and international initiatives." He was like, "Bruh, I'm so sick of people acting like they are above being human."
I then told him goodbye and thank you again, shook his hand and left. That last statement he made forced me to go out and buy his book and read it. I must tell all of you this dude is real. He has a gang of stuff in his closet but the least I can say is, he is approachable and recognizes his flaws and is willing to address them. This was the third time I had contact with someone either as a sitting President or wanting to be President (I was present at the debriefing of Clinton and the briefing of Bush concerning the Nuclear Weapons Standing and Safety Committee concern over the Nuclear Deterrent).
Later I started to listen to his comments and what really pulled me over was his comment to Australia's President concerning their support of Bush in Iraq. He simply stated, "If you support it, send more troops." (The Aussie have under 2000 or so troops there)
I have been a supporter of John McCain for years but it's time to have someone in office that can make a difference and not lie about it as easily or calmly as the Clinton's do or Bush (Yes the Clinton's lie-just talk to some High Executives at Tyson Foods in Fayetteville). This is a serious issue for me because I am about to actually change party affiliation to help get this man in office if not in the upcoming election, then in the next.
