Do any BLACK Folx use STOVE STOP STUFFING ?

I was trying to tell my white co-worker that Stove Stop Stuffing is not used alot amounst Black people during the holidays.
It is some, but I dont know of anyone that uses it.....Not even as a base.

Nobody but my non-cooking cousin, and even she has gotten better. Now she just leaves that kind of stuff to everybody else (still remembering that crunchy macaroni and cheese :vomit: )

L NO!

U know how we roll...save break pieces from 10 years back...LOL

Personally, I like make my dressing fresh with all the fixing and seasonings and I bake my own cornbread prior to or make it all together with my fixings and let it cook all @ the same time...

aint coolking jack this year though....fix'n plates erah wur I go...

Hell I aint Gonna Lie......

ISHT I didnt know black folk actually ate Cranberry Sauce........That's so not a South Central La. type dish.....Least not for us creole folk.........:(

Heck no. I make it fresh complete with all the fixings. Wanted to be a Chef growing up. Hate Cranberry Sause though.

In my fam's house it will be used in the event of an emergency. Such as the whole city of Chicago runs out of bread and cornmeal. But I won't hate on those who don't know how to make dressing from scratch...you gotta start somewhere.

man my grandmother only uses a mix for instant potatoes for my daughter who wants them EVERYDAY, other than that everything she cooks is from scratch. She uses rolls that she baked sunday and fresh cornbread in her dressing. Heck we just got her to start using a food processor to cut the veggies...

I remember when I went to this Thanksgiving Day party at my old job.

Some white lady made dressing and put Nuts and dates and white raisins in it.

:vomit:

Heck no...I only used it once when a pale woman came over for dinner.

I know it gets used. I see it at alot of houses. I am sure they don't use it as directed on the package though.

I make my mom's recipe from scratch from beginning to end.

LOL @ crunchy mac and cheese. Years ago a really dumb white girl that was a secretary for our firm asked me how I made lasagna. I wrote it all down for her...well she comes in the next day and says it had a good flavor and all but the noodles were CRUNCHY! I couldn't imagine what she meant when it dawned on me the fool did not cook the noodles before putting them in the casserole.:lol::lol: I laughed so hard at her when she said, I didn't tell her to cook the noddles. Po chile :smh:

 I guess she thought the noodles were going to cook in the oven. She's not a real good cook if she didn't know to do that.

Although most women who can really cook make their dressing from scratch, I love the taste of stove top stuffing!!!!
