I was skeptical 'cause I'm true to old school and REAL HIP HOP(especially since max 94.1 and Trill ent must be in the sack together cause that's all u hear on there).

I'm diggin this cut.

I love Drake, and I can really ride to his shat. On another note, I don't even like yella boys, but he is something nice! :ebrow:
 
His song I listen to the most is Forever with Kanye, Wayne and Eminem. Eminem totally destroyed the competition on that song lol

Yea dude nice..but im skeptical if I could by a CD if it sound like SO Far Gone again. That mixtape was hot..but after awhile..that isht is to soft...I aint listen to it in a looooong time.

But yea that Forever track is crazy..Em killed it. I was feeling KanYe verse..I think people slept on it..plus its the most on topic with the song.

But Drake good..but his stage performance is :noidea:.
 
Drake is a gemic. No longevity what soever. And the dude is plain lame and boring.

Over exposure will kill his career.

I hear ya mane. He's laid back. He just gotta grow with music. I know he aint been doing much because of his leg.

Lyrically, he's better than most of these cats out now. But If I say that around these youngstas in BR they'll bite my head off.cause to them Boosie is the best out now.

Oh He has some clever puns and ad libs (even thought the phatom lease the *es wanta get in) but Ludacris is just as good with bette carisma. And I'm not a big luda fan.

But my wife's says it's the lightskin thing. LOL

Luda's problem is that he doesnt put out enough music.... He will drop an album... drop 2 singles and you dont hear from him for a year or two....Drake is hot... u may not like him but you cant say he aint hot... Jay Z dont put you on a track if you aint hot.

yea we comin back mane. I think the only think that will keep Drake buzzing is Lil Wayne. His next album gotta be better than this one. He did some hooks on BP3.

Drake aint even dropped his first studio album yet... its not coming out till 2010... you aint heard nothing but mixed tapes.... Who that you can remember has blown up this big for over a year and aint even dropped a studio album yet?

I give the cat his props. Dude can spit and he's not trying to be somebody that he's not and please believe that he will have longevity. Kanye's management team and Lil Wayne's management team wouldn't have combined forces to manage this dude if they didn't see a future.

That's the new thing drop nonstop mixtapes (Weezy has 10 a day it seems) and see what folks (that research) likes. They put stuff on mixtapes that the would never put on a stuido album.

Look at the stuff Bow Wow talk about on mixtapes-sometimes in graphic detail. Women go from shorties to whores? I bust a cap in folks?

Also why are guys like Jay Z and Weezy humping the sack of Drake?

How many fans of that show would normally ignore Weezy or Jay Z? Yet will listen to them if Drake is on a song? Or might buy a Weezy cd if Drake is on it? You don't think Drake HELPED Trey Songz sell 100K by being on 2 of songs?

Drake releases his cd-how fast does he get booked on the N (or Teen Nick) to host a night of the N shows?

Unlike Bow Wow-you're not limited to BET, you have more free reign with Drake. Drake has not soured folks like Bow Wow has.

It's all about reaching markets that would blocked to you in other ways.

Mark be me to this. I was about to start a thread about this dude. How the h@ll you go from Degrassi to Lil' Wayne. Does this show have "street cred' "? I tripped across him while watching the show on Sunday mornings at Bally's earlier this year. I was like "Why does he look like that no rappin' dude who sounds like lil' wayne?" It can't be, this show is filmed in Canada. Two totally different characters. I'm not hatin'. Just not a fan of their so called rap style.

That's the thing. He has no street cred nor is he trying to have any.
 
he dont rap about trapping and all that stuff man...he dont need street cred.

plus he from Canada. If he tried to go with the "gangsta/trapper" gimmick it wouldnt work
