This statement is WRONG.

Down Low means that you are trying to HIDE the fact that you are homosexual be it male or female. That you are living a heterosexual life style but is secretly homosexual. That is what down low is. If you see a flamboyant dude on the street that man aint down low. But he is a homo.

The aforementioned phrase too often gets overlooked.....The thing that irks me is the hypocrisy.......I love our women and nothing can give me a greater high than them, but I'm really sick and tired of the man bashing.
 
I think that whole DL lifestyle is absolutely ridiculous. I have more respect for a man that is openly gay than some gay dude that doesn't want to admit or believe that he's gay. The sickening part is that they want to play hetero. I've read that they don't consider themselves gay but if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then, ....

I do think it's blown out of proportion, however women have a right to know what they are dealing with and the DL clowns have an obligation to be honest so in that sense it needs to be kept on the front burner.

Downlow is when you have a girl/wife/female friend that you have sexual relations with, but on the side you fugging John, Jacob, Jinglehimersmith and dem.

"In the Closet" is when you have not came out with your sexuality to folx around you.
There is a difference. I aint got no problems with Gay/lesbians/homosexuals/transsexuals whatever, but I DO HAVE A PROBLEM with these coward @ZZ dudes that know they like men, but want to keep up a macho front by messing with females. I gather from this post that you agree that one cannot be "down low" without being homosexual. If so, that means you agree with Panthro's statement. Downlow=homosexual=gay. If you're on the DL, yo ass is homo.
 



My problem with DL dudes is that they want their cake and eat it to...they have a woman...and either getting fugged or fugging a dude. That's just wrong. Well my brother, the topic of discussion was Down Low brothers and was the term being blown up. I was simply trying to say that people misuse the term. Gay is Gay. Dont get me wrong. But there is a misconception of what classifies as down low and flat out homosexuality.

My uncle was down low, then he was a closet fag, then he just flat out came out to everyone. Meaning he doesnt try to hide his sexuallity anymore.

You are getting the terms messed up. DL does not mean closet fag. They are 2 different things.
Just cause a man does not disclose his sexual orientation to the world does not make him DL.
A person that is sleeping with women but on the "LOW" is kicking it with guys is DOWNLOW.
