I think what so many people are missing is that we're suppose to live in a democracy and in any democracy we have to accept some things we may not like.

I saw him last night on Hannity and Colmes, and thought his tears, and assorted drama including wanting to buy headstones for the slaves buried with their feet facing the Potomac as well as wanting to be buried there himself. I got home too late to see Larry King, but will record the rerun to see he he could appear any worse.
I listened to the tape of Dog, The Bounty Hunter's conversation or message to his son. I am a firm believer, for obvious reasons, that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. It appears at this point in Dog's life, that for whatever reasons, there is still some animosity toward a certain race even though he has allowed some to become a positive part of his life, e.g., his spiritual advisor. I say this because in thinking through on the situation, I had to examine my own life. When it comes to what could be considered a racial slur, I choose not to include such words in my vocabulary. The same goes for unkind generalizations of any group. I also choose the same with the use profanity because if used constantly, it has a way of coming out at the worst possible time. Imagine having a life changing experience and giving a testimony in church, and in the excitement of the moment, the worst possible time, the F bomb is dropped. How embarrassing! But, the stuff was stored in ya, and it has a way of coming out. Furthermore, it isn't really that hard to get a point across to an "individual" without ever having to swear or attack a group that the person has association.
Personally, I don't care one way or the other if Dog's show continues. I was done with it anyway after about three episodes the novelty wore off and I was bored. Initially, I was intrigued by the interesting hairdo, costumes, the Mrs. having enough boobs to help out half the women in Texas, and how they as a team captured criminals. Later, the episodes just weren't appealing enough to continue watching on a regular basis.
It appears from the tape that Dog had well thought out the implications of use of the "N" word and wanted to be sure that his son drop his girlfriend, because he didn't need any complications surrounding how he referred to black people in his own home. It is interesting to note that the magnitude of the confrontation led to him being exposed, and apparently, by an angry son who not only went to extremes to expose his father, but by doing so in a most crippling way while making a profit at the same time. I sincerely wish that the situation could have been handled in a different way where the family could have taken away a more meaningful resolve.

That's possible, only the problem is what he said on tape is inconsistent with brotherhood.
