appointed to serve on the search committee
become President of the JSU Alumni Association
become President of the BB Association
become Mayor of Jackson

and might become a member of the famous V.F.W. in Jackson,

NT,

It's just that AAMU was expected to lose Sat. Everybody already knows how they will do this year, so when they lost it was no big deal to TSPN, including the Bulldog posters themselves.

Now as for us, it's a different story. We are expected to win or be competitive at the least and we weren't. And for this reason we must take all the flack....that just comes with the terrritory when you are a "traditional" conference powerhouse.

So the way I see it, they have the right to come at us the way they are. I wouldn't have it any other way. All this smack we are receiving is well-deserved. Actually, I expected to see more.

But one thing that seems apparent to me is that some of these posters seem to take more satisfaction in us losing than their team winning and again that's alright. Let them point all the fingers they want. But as for me, I'm more occupied with what my team is/ isn't doing.

Yeah, you should, but they don't see it that way. This is how their win/loss formula works:

If your school loses and JSU loses it "cancels out", so in essence it is a moral victory (W).

You get two moral victories (2W's) if you actually beat JSU. So to A&M they are actually 0-0, or back to square one. ASU beat us last year so that's like 2 W's and that cancels out the fact that they finished last in the division.

You see what I'm saying? You gotta understand their state of mind when it comes to JSU.

And what does this have to do with the price of tea in China.
Maybe he would be the best Alumni Assoc president that we've ever seen. Maybe he would be the best mayor Jackson have ever seen.

But as head football coach at Jackson State University, he sucked.

Take yourself for example. I hear that you were a very active National Alumni Assoc president for A&M. And I'm sure that alumni is appreciative of that. But as a football smacker for the school, you suck.

Hmmm......interesting. Now I'm starting to understand. But what happens if they lose to us? Do they get moral victory points for being in the game at some point? :confused:
