Design Star 4

I'm watching, and love it!

Don't have a favorite, because right now, I think they all have some good skills.

But I will say that Tashica needs to step it up. Her work is sloppy.

I am ready for Tashica to GO HOME. She should have been gone. She has not done anything to set herself apart from any Joe or Sally, including ME.

I like Dan and Tori, but Antonio's set design skills would bring something new to HGTV. (Something for family room or media room designs).
Dan reminds me of David (Season 1's winner).

Yeah, Antonio's skills are unique.
I was impressed with Tori and Nathan's designs from Sunday!

DITTO!

Especailly the part about Dan being more like David. Antonio grew on me by show #2 so I'm rooting for him. sista girl and her scatter brain GOT TO GO!!
I like Nathan (the one with the 'milk room'), but he's a bit too young (or maybe too shy?) to know how to really communicate his great ideas. He and Dan have had the best rooms and collabos so far.

I'm thinking it will be Antonio...he's out the box and has that edge that HGTV needs.

Oh well, Tashica :jump: and Jany are gone. They did let Tashica go roughly though. They've never been that rough. I did feel bad for her when they were treating her like a helper and not a fellow cast member.

I didn't agree with the judges still applauding Dan as the leader when it was his idea to do the platform they hated. Both garages still looked like garages. They just decorated them. No design. Something about Dan's personality raised a red flag for me this week when he interacted with Tashica and shifted the blame. If he was the "leader", he should have sent her shopping and let Nathan help him with construction.

The only person who has shown any skills to set them apart from the rest is Antonio. His set design skills are unmatched. He's highly confident, which can hurt him if he doesn't bring it down a notch when hosting to appeal to the average viewer with little to no skills. The goal is to inspire the viewer.

Co-sign!

They did that girl wrong!

I thought Nathan's past work would have kept him in another week. I can't remember a thing Jason has done to support his still being there.

I thought Nathan would've stayed around, too. No telling how they're really judging these folks. Sometimes they knock out the true competition early on, so it won't look strange when they pick the person they really want.

I think they have the right top 3...i agreed that Tori needed to be gone a while back...too wishy washy and not enough real 'talent'. The older woman is just ok to me. Like Vern said she needs to be careful that she's not a one-trick pony. I like her design ideas, but her personality is dull. i can't imagine her having a show because she's so blah.

Tony has been my fav from the beginning and he will probably win. there is no one else on tv like him. LIke him or not, he has been right in all of his comments. He might be harsh in how he communicates, it but you can tell he's a softie and is just really passionate. I didn't like him in the first two episodes, but he really grew on me.
