Democrats What If....

JC, when you get your paycheck, you pay taxes....
When you put gas in your car, bought your car, and paid for your food clothing and shelter, you were "taxed on top of taxed".

The government has always done that, be it a Dem or Rep at the helm. I feel that the more redunduncy we cut out of govt. saves us money.

You have some agencies, especially at the municipal level that creates reduncency, hence costs us more money.

The point I was conveying to Toi was that if you make the arguement that "it's my body and my decision", keep in mind that you don't make the same arguement with child support.

If you say that men have no say so with abortion, then by the same tangent you have no say so in him supporting the alternative.

But as I stated before, Liberals always argue on the side of Convience.

I am not arguing that a man has no say I am arguing that the Government has no say. Having a baby is a TWO person issue the sperm and the egg... that is it.

Yet, why does the left always use the arguement of "Let a woman do what she want's with her body"? By that verbage and promotion alone, that makes it a ONE person issue in lieu of a TWO person issue.

Duplissis Identity is one of the Left's greatest standpoints.

Not only that. The attack on abortion is always viewed as an attack on women's rights in general from the left.

^Just like a typical Democrat....answering a question with a question. lol

But the very fact that the Libs parlay their arguement around it being a woman's decision kills that question.

Maka,
I'm just trying to get you to see that what you're arguing doesn't wash.

The right doesn't condone abortion if the man agrees with the lady.

It certainly does Wash. The entire argument the Left has is based on the woman's right to choose, and it's her decision alone. I was quoting Toi's admission to that, which makes it relevant.

It is an attack on a women's right, we all agree it take two to make a baby but only ONE person carries that baby for nine months and if we want to bring it home to our folk. Many of our men don't want to take care of a damn baby but are against abortions. If we were more open about abortions in our damn community we would not have all these damn teenager's running around with babies they can't afford or even want.

Fact:
63% of abortion patients are white.

66 % of teenage (15-19) mothers are black.
:upset: :upset: :upset:

I don't get involved in this debate because I just choose to agree to disagree on it.

From my perspective, it is not a woman's right to choose, because I believe it is murder. I believe that life begins at conception.

Just my two cents - not trying to recruit anybody to my side at all.

Valid stats.

But these stats are the exact reason the cure from AIDS will be discovered by a black person - the cure from Cancer will be from a black person - the new policy of Jehovah Witnesses to NOT knock on your door before 8 AM on Saturday will come from a black person (had to throw a joke in).

We don't kill off our prophets!

Ain't no mention of Moses' daddy in the bible.

Remember when I posted some months ago how women would suffer exponentially under this "tyranny" that currently occupies the WH? The confirmation of Alito is one of the last pieces to the puzzle. I saw this coming.

Didn't these folks flee on the Mayflower because they wanted to escape the king? I guess they didn't forsee that one of their own descendants would become "king" here in the new land. :smh:

After they take away a woman's right to choose, just what do you think they will be going after next? The party of less government my @ss!!

Unfortunately, too many repubs in this country looked at this past election (and the SE-lection before that,) as a football game...not giving a hoot in hell how this nation faired afterward, but more about "lets win at ANY cost."

BINGO

...but thats not just Repubs....thats just about all of America now that just looks at this as some athletic event and just follow their mascot no matter what they say.

Moses was born on 7 Adar in the year 2368 from Creation (circa 1400 BCE), the son of Amram, a member of the tribe of Levi, and Yocheved, Levi's daughter (Ex. 6:16-20). Unlike the heroes of many other ancient cultures, Moses did not have a miraculous birth. Amram married Yocheved, and she conceived, and she gave birth (Ex. 2:1-2). The only unusual thing about his birth is Yocheved's advanced age: Yocheved was born while Jacob and his family were entering Egypt, so she was 130 when Moses was born. His father named him Chaver, and his grandfather called him Avigdor, but he is known to history as Moses, a name given to him by Pharaoh's daughter.

This could be the final nail in the coffin from what Reagan started and tried to do during his presidency. I am not just looking at the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. But I am wonder when the present day/equivalent/similar version of a Plessy vs. Ferguson will be ruled.

I understand that one has to pick and chose their fights. I just wonder when will the democrats pick and chose.

I wonder what some female Bush voters are saying to themselves right now and what will they say in the future.

Alito is confirmed!

The official turning back of the clock started about an hour ago! :smh:

God help America.......PLEASE!!

EB, those female Bush voters will say nothing according to a recent Emory University study. Voting patterns are governed by emotions not issues or rationale. I learned this lesson from Reagan's Iran Contra fiasco and the impeachment of Clinton.

And we have the gumption to criticize the Palestininians, shi'ites sunni and Kurds voting practices.
