I'm not upset about the response to what I wrote. I knew it was coming. What I have an issue with is bad faith non-nuanced arguments to what was written such as calling into question loyalty to the university or saying I should build relationships with people.

HBCU Sports, HBCU Gameday, and other media outlets aren't a SI or PR arm for Jackson State or any other College/University. Especially with a hire like Deion Sanders, Jackson State is going to get articles written about not wearing masks in public spaces or Deion's past with Prime Prep.
It's gonna happen - just as a Morehouse Grad writing about the losing streak and injury for Markur Makur and Howard University.
Media outlets do not have to write 100% positive pieces. They are here to tell stories rather they are good, bad, or indifferent. They also generate revenue to pay bills from either subscriptions or advertising.
If anything, I wouldn't keep throwing barbs at members of the media - Kendrick and Kenn included.

I guess you are only concerned about Deion. How do you feel about the NFL? Everybody on the sideline wearing masks, but unmasked while on the field.
That was a quoted picture from FB. I have no dog in this hunt. This is not a football field but a conference room, they have different rules for being inside.

Nobody said that, but it's stupid to be inside a room that small not wearing a mask with nobody attempting to social distance.
You're more prone to get it inside without social distancing, wearing a mask and coming in contact with someone who has it over being outside.

I just wanna know if Deion is gonna come out of pocket for the increased Covid-19 testing that's gonna be needed? The fact they aren't socially distancing is a bit unnerving especially that it hasn't come out that the staff hasn't been officially tested. They very well could have; they should've released it as they've been dribbling out other info bits to keep the attention going in the media.

If y’all really wanted to know the COVID protocols and whether or not they were tested, why not just set up an interview with the President, AD or Coach Prime as every other media outlet to ask and find out. It’s simple. All this could have really been avoided, especially when the person that wrote the article is supposedly a Jacksonian.
