I won't be surprised if the Bama State offense is good. Johnny Coles can put a scoring machine together. But I'd be shocked like hell if L. C. puts a dominant defense on the field. L. C. doesn't have a good track record in that department.Originally posted by Deuce
No doubt.
Look for the Hornets to be Cole-Blooded on both sides of the ball in 2002. Also, don't be surprised if the offense is just as good, or better![]()

than it was last year.

You heard it hear first remember we may have lost our key offensive players but the defensive will pick up the slack led by #9 Earl Cochran. Can't nobody stop him. The offense will be ready to go by the time of the first game.

hee,hee, UNLV tranfers![]()
Man do not make me laugh.
How can anyone become excited, about one or two transfers from UNLV. Here's a school with John Robinson, a former LA Rams and USC head coach. And the best they could do last season was 3-4 {Conference} and 4-7 {Overall}. I am sure if they were any good, JR, UNLV, Alumni and the City of Vegas, would have found a way to keep them. Why in da He!!, would anyone leave Vegas / UNLV for Montgomery / ASU? Maybe, they thought ASU was going D1A and they would have an opportunity to play against UNLV.
Deuce
I can understand a few individuals being excited about a few UNLV transfers. But, you should know better.
I sure would love to know the names of the transfers.

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!Exactly, what do you know?????Originally posted by Suge
And I will give Cochran his props. He is good, but he can be neutralized. Don't believe me, see A&M and GSU game in B-ham. Cochran is no run stopper. He is too light in the arse. You run at him and pound him, and he is not as effective as when he is let loose. His best assets are his height and his speed.
But what do I know.....
