Has died from a massive stroke.:shame:
If you are a fan, then you remember last season he had major problems with his heart and had to be evacuated from his crab boat mid season.
The doctor warned him then he basically had one foot in the grave because of the stress.
He was the one that had his 2 sons working for him and they was always on him because the only thing he would eat was cigarettes, coffee, and his favorite sammich............link Sausage and Egg.
He was one of the "funny" guy's on the show that took care of business but also let the crew blow off steam by playing pratical jokes on other crab boats.
The best joke he played was when he brought up one of the other ships crab pots and filled it with garbage from his ship.
Those guy's took one look at that garbage and knew exactly who did it.
Captian Phil Harris........... The Cornelia Marie
Captian Phil Harris Dies ....... RIP
Capt. Phil Harris suffered what his family described as a massive stroke on Jan. 29 while the boat was in port at St. Paul Island, Alaska. He was flown to Anchorage for surgery.
