What began as a reported shoplifting at a Galleria-area clothing store ended in tragedy Thursday night when two women were hit and killed while running across a Houston freeway following a police chase, according to the Houston Police Department.

This is a sad situation. Getting caught is never part of the plan, and in this situation it resulted in the death of two young people on the wrong track.

It will never happen, but it would be wise if people engaged in wrongdoing understood when you're caught the gig is up.

It seems the thirty year old just refused to do right with her life. I wonder if she was the one behind the wheel.
