I mean really, this schyatt was MO-FOing TERRIBLE!! How is the "L" can you clowns even try and I do mean "TRY" to compare yourself to THE HUMAN JUKE BOX? Ya'll don't even march or lift your legs, all you do it walk and make weak ARSE formations. Southern is going to embarass you all once again in the Bayou Classic, seriously why even show the P-H----uck UP?:splat:

All jokes aside, you all are probably the worst band in the entire SWAC! :shame:

Man, that band suck to the lowest part of the earth. My niece high school band sounds alot better than them and the high school only been active for about 5 years and the band about 3 years.

These kids just dont care about music anymore. I felt bad for having that mess on TV. This makes me very, very sad. :(
 
Man, they should "burn all their arrangements" along with their suits, instruments, that big bass drum, their white shoes, and their music hall. They are just totally ridiculous. That just dont make any sense to be that awful. :vomit:

I mean really though, how can someone from Gram try to compare Grambling to Southern, it just no "GOT DAYUM" comparison......... The competition ain't even fair or even close. The Juke Box actually marched, performs whip turns and such..... all Grambling does is walk and they don't have any energy whatsoever!

To be fair, here is SU performing at JSU in 06. I am using this tape because I didn't want to hear anyone from Gram say that you can't compare the sound in Mumford (2007) to the sound in Jackson Memorial.

Ya'll are truly the worst band in the SWAC, I am not even trying to be funny with this statement........:emlaugh:

Man, how in the hell can those kids say that they actually "play" in the band? They makes the most awful sounds out of those things against their mouths. Oh well, at least their football team is somewhat decent.

Bruh, It's been this way for years now. I will give Gram credit in regards to getting publicity and commercials, but it really just goes to show that the marketing companies really have no idea or clue regarding who the top HBCU marching bands are.

And for Gram to continue to use the "World Fame" title is beyond sad.... :shame: How can a band loose it's status in the way Gram has done.
SU, JSU, FAMU, etc have all been able to maintain their programs for decades now, but Gram is really living off of past accomplishments from 30 years ago..... :sleeping:

And those loud ARSE piss yellow uniforms are beyond sad........... really!!!!:emlaugh:

That was the kicker. They didnt sound good, march good, look good, etc.... Looked like a bunch of dayum 3M post-it stickys.

I do have a question though... Why does the band dance during the dancers feature? IF the whole band is going to dance then why even have the dancers come out!

Gram alum...plz explain
 
One word comes to mind....WOW!

I just don't see all of the extra work and time that was reported to have been put in or that I have been hearing about.

No doubt about it, and I am being PC here....there is a bit of work that needs to be done...:smh:
 
man! wtf was that? im tripping that they were doing something as simple as a little rock step at like 5:55 in the video and some fools couldnt even rock right to left or left to right.....they running into each other.....and im trippin off the fat boys coming out......seems like we did that when i was in the band....at SOUTHERN!......leaving the field to rock and roll.....i think i did that too.....at SOUTHERN!.....we have an eighth note in our "S".....they have two sixteeth notes on their G.....hmmmm.....they usually have 3 to 4 dm's.....now they have 1.....we had one dm......at SOUTHERN! so looking at them i have to say GSU stands for GET LIKE SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY!:upset::no:

Ohhhh lord, I just found out they're coming out to Dallas to play(embarass SWAC bands) during halftime at the Mavericks game on Black College night in Feb. :eek:
 



I've been watching the WF for 30 years now. In that time I have never known their marching technique to be the high knee-lift, hard driving style. They had their own style, very synchronous and smooth. I still see that in this clip. Instead of dancing while the troupe was dancing - especially since they had another tune for the whole band to dance, it would have been better for them to drill. They simply stayed in the spread formation too long. On the positive side, since they chose to dance and play it was great to see all of them dancing and playing at the same time. So, I will commend them in that area over any SWAC band that doesn't do that (I haven't seen all of the bands).

Last, but not least, is my personal dislike of Rock & Roll, Part 2 as a tune. They did it well, I just don't like the song no matter who is playing it. No, it was not a great show in design nor execution, but they did do some things well...and I must say that I did watch the game on TV, heard them play in the stands all through the game, and the sound was excellent.

dacontinenet, you must have one helluva TV! That thing must make Monique look like Vivica Fox and Bobby Brown sound like Usher..........:lol:

It's funny how you can fix your mouth to say something like that, when you have 3 different uniforms or rather 1 uniform and 2 sets of warm up suits.
