Dak Prescott won't participate in anthem protests

I agree....my problem is when you offer counter or opposing views to the work being put in by someone esle for the benefit of everyone else. You don't want to put your ass/job on the line? Cool, but don't throw a road block up for the person willing to put their ass/job on the line. Just stay out of the way because if things change he will benefit as well.

And there it is!

As the author of this quote would say "BAM!"

Some dont understand that a True Star Athlete has never faced any Racism to their Face, especially if they are Not from the Hoods of America, He has been a Golden Boy since he was 5 years old in Tee Ball. Some for some that dont understand, in thats OK. Kap went to Utah, adopted, by White Parents. So He was always had to face the eyes. Now him not voting is another thing.

But Prescott not Participating is fine with me, actually I would rather them make more of a impact on the front Lines

I wouldn't say 'never."

Exactly....unless you are supporting Kaep anything else that is said is undermining the entire reason for him kneeling. The best thing black players who are not kneeling or placing their hands on the shoulders of the ones who are is to shut up.
I keep telling y'all. We crave their approval so much we will kill ourselves.

I wonder if the owner and he had a talk.

That was what I said. I do not expect him to support Kaep....just do not hinder him and his efforts. How hard is it to say I have no opinion? No comment?

"No comment" are two forgotten words in the English language by many.

Let folks be themselves. Geez, if the kid doesn't want to do it that's HIS choice. If it was so easy EVERYONE would do it. Martin Luther Kings, Malcolm X's, Medgar Evers, and Muhammad Ali's don't grow on trees you know. I would much rather have someone doing it out of their own convictions as opposed to someone doing it for fear of what the black community or others would say or think about them.

Its HIS choice and he free to have it but I am just disappointed that we dont have enough of our black NFL athletes to see the wrong/injustice in what has happened in this situation. BUT, if they dont' feel disrespected, that's them.

Everybody want someone else to do it, maybe the fans in the stands need to kneel or sit.

Personally, even at JSU games, I don't stand anymore BUT its not enough of us at NFL games to make a difference. This lies on the players. They are 70% of the NFL. That is the POWER. Without them, the effort is moot. If they stood up for themselves, I think the entire nation would, including some white people and corporate America but right now black folks looking like fools again. If they don't stand up (or kneel) for themselves, why does the world care?

I can see how it could be construed as such and I have seen one of my old professors share Dak's comments and spin it the way that you all are speaking of. I really almost deleted her off my friend's list last night.

TP I agree. I nor my wife don't stand at GSU games or high school games and we make it known why.
