Re: Daily Devotion | Feb 2, 2006 | What Is On Your Mind?
Good Morning All and Happy, Happy Thursday to YOU! I greet you on this beautiful morning in the matchless and merciful name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! What a glorious day this is to be alive! This is yet another day that you have not seen before! If I were you, I would rejoice
and be glad! I am. It is another day to experience the awesomeness of
GOD, for He is truly that, awesome.
I trust that this email finds all doing well, as I am!
What is on your mind?
Do your emotions get the best of you? Is your thought pattern indicative of a disciple of Christ? Do negative thoughts bombard your thought pattern? Is your mind on a roller coaster ride? Do you waiver between good and evil all day long?
The word of GOD declares in Phillipians 2:5: "Let this mind be in you, which was
also in Christ Jesus".
The Word of God also declares in Phillipians 4:8-9: Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of
good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these
things. *Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen
in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
It all starts in your mind! When the enemy comes to attack, he will usually start
with your mind. If he can get you to think and focus on negative things, and remain
there, he can win.
It is only when we as disciples of Christ focus on things that bring glory and honor
to GOD, can we win this battle!
I charge you today to not focus on negative things, people, places or things.
Even in the midst of distress, despair, depression, anxiety, stress, worry and
doubt, think of these things as mentioned above in Phillipians 4:8-9. Refuse to be
defeated in your mind!
Yes, some things that we experience are very real! There are some things that you
will never be able to change! There are some people that you will never be able to
change! There are some circumstances that you do not have the power to change!
There are some things that you know to be true and can do nothing about!
Do you loose your mind or do you change it?
You do have the power to change your mind!
What is on your mind?
Make it an EXCELLENT day!
