Shut the front and back doors!

You telling me you think people should continue to follow the teachings of this lying, sodomizing preacher? This man is in the TRUTH and FAITH business, yet he couldn't take his OWN advice and the word of The Good Book and stand on them. Instead gave up 25 million?? For a lie?

Y'all PLEASE do me a favor. Don't nary one of y'all EVER text me on a Sunday morning asking me if I'm going to church, invite me to church or try to discuss church with me cause me and the Lord plus Bible gonna commune at the house when they don't want me to play piano at the church. And yes, I'm good with that. Thank ya!

While I am not the biggest of Creflo Dollar fans on the planet, he is right this time.

It's like telling a wife to go back to her abusing husband and then "pray on it." I see ZERO differences in both situations because I see ONE who is the abused and the other who is the ABUSER. I saw an interesting quote earlier today over the web...<b>"It is better to have common sense with no education than to have education and no common sense..."</b> Common sense really isn't common these days.

:retard:

If the blind are leading the blind, it doesn't matter what ditch they are in, huh?

But, that's not what you're saying. Is it?

Explain this dacon and you better not come with any bull.

dacon. you are flat out wrong here
I'm usually in agreement with you but you're wrong here.
According to the Bible you are wrong.

If you're gonna Preach the word I suggest you sharpen your sword because
alot of times JayRob kills you with reason from OUR Bible, I just don't always feel like
joining in on you guys tirades

BUT if you stand behind Creflo on this issue, I believe something is wrong with your intrepretation of the Word.

Go back and read the qualifications for being a Bishop according to OUR Bible

Now ask yourself does Eddie Long even qualify?

chapter and verse has to prove chapter and verse you know this.

If you were apart of his ministerial staff, you mean, you would stay after all has gone down? If so, please tell me why?
Thanks for asking.

I have TWICE been THE assistant pastor when the senior pastor has had a failure. The first thing that came to mind in each case was:
Gal 6:1-2,7
6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness ; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ... 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

In the first case, the restoration process took 5 years (divorced), but it held that church together. I was pleased to perform the remarriage the pastor and his wife, and the church thrived. We then got to leave. At the next church, the pastor and wife again ran into trouble just as God had given us a Word to start a new church body. We stayed 6 months weeks for them to be recovered and it held that church together.

What Dr. Dollar is talking about is as much for New Birth and the ministries that will be born out of it as it is for Eddie Long. The only thing that I might have done differently was to tell them to first go back and see Pastor Long restored and the church stabilized. If God then gives you a word to move, follow that word. But, to abdicate because the deal went bad is failing to love your brother and it is wrong.

If I had a failure, I would want someone to love me enough to take the time to restore me.

Forgiveness is part of the Christian way... However, as Leader he should confess and ask his Church for forgiveness. If nothing more putting the church through this ordeal. Rather you want to Believe it or not, there has got to be some Truth in those events....

For Instance, while in Baton Rouge and Married at the time, my ex-spouse and I were dealing with marital issues and sought out pastoral counseling...While he telling me to work out my differences and "Step up and Take Control of my home".... He was caught fugging a Deacon's Wife!!!!! No spectulation... it was the Real Deal!!!!... Now, he did address the church and asked for forgiveness... Of Course I left the church after that ordeal......However, He was Fraud!!! and Not only did I lose some faith in spiritual Leaders.. I also Loss Respect of him as a MAN!!!!

It was a Lesson though..... No matter what we are going through.. We Should ALWAYS Seek God...for comfort, guidance, and wisdom 1st!!!!!!

Has he even asked for forgiveness?? Has he admitted to any wrongdoing on his parts?? Will his PRIDE allow it. Thats what i dont like with Dollar, Long or any of them. They come off as arrogant and boastful. And those are not Christ-like ways esp in way that you are supposed to lead your church. Im not asking any man to be perfect but as a supposed "bishop" there are certain ways you are not supposed to act. And when caught in those action, you are supposed to confess and repent.

No, he has not (according to reports) and that's why the settlement went from $15 to $25 million, because he refused to give a public apology.

Anybody who continues to follow Long is a fool. Even Bernice King (MLK's daughter) left his church immediately after the settlement came out.

I (and anybody else) can forgive and pray for that man and his ministry from a distance. But to continue to follow him is just madness.

Let me translate this for us lower-level thinking folk.

<b>"Batch! I see you ain't had enough of me puttin' my foot through your arse so I see you're back for more."</b>

Good job.  It's one thing to be THOUGHT of being a fool or foolish, it's yet another to ACT The part of a fool and continue to do foolish things.

Einstein's defnition of S-T-U-P-I-D-I-T-Y...<b>and it reads lol...."Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results..."</b>

I would have a hard time following a pastor who was not up front with his congregation or practiced deception. If Long hasn't publicly admitted any wrongdoing or attempted to cover something up, then it would be tough to trust him in regards to the the church or what he preaches about.
